High concentration of brand-name retail stores and a unique variety of innovative restaurants and pubs. Our major theatre opportunities are also within walking distances. No better location for enjoying the YYC pedestrians and their various interests! Patios galore for enjoying our summer season---and generally speaking---...More

A pedestrian friendly street that spans about 5 blocks or so. Nothing stands out as a major tourist item but there are some restaurants, shops and office buildings. The street is closed to vehicles most of the day.

I did not use a master card so I don't know. They probably do but I'd want to make sure as well before travelling that long distance with a pre-paid Master Card and find out that I couldn't. The Calgary Downtown... More

Yeah, there is abundant parking downtown, very close to Stephen Ave. esp. on weekends; even affordable parking on weekdays with the economic downturn. Pretty much everything you need to know is found if you google search... More

Plenty to choose from , popular Tim Hortons to upmarket restaurants. Most buildings have their own food court , Bankers hall is the one I visited regularly , its worth a visit.
