How fabulous to have a pedestrians only area right in downtown Calgary. A variety of restaurants and small stores. I enjoy walking in the early evening after I’ve just landed and checked into my hotel.

Amazing hanging baskets of begonias all along the street, the walk. The area is closed to traffic so it is very enjoyable and quiet stroll. Lots of arts culture and places to eat. Kind of a fun stroll.

Good for both people and urban scenery watching and there are some great specialist shops there too eg Lammies for urban cowboy gear esp the boots. Beautiful hanging flower baskets in early Sept.
