Amazing hanging baskets of begonias all along the street, the walk. The area is closed to traffic so it is very enjoyable and quiet stroll. Lots of arts culture and places to eat. Kind of a fun stroll.

Good for both people and urban scenery watching and there are some great specialist shops there too eg Lammies for urban cowboy gear esp the boots. Beautiful hanging flower baskets in early Sept.

I did not use a master card so I don't know. They probably do but I'd want to make sure as well before travelling that long distance with a pre-paid Master Card and find out that I couldn't. The Calgary Downtown... More

Yeah, there is abundant parking downtown, very close to Stephen Ave. esp. on weekends; even affordable parking on weekdays with the economic downturn. Pretty much everything you need to know is found if you google search... More
