I enjoyed the festival, however, because of the time of year, almost everything was closed. I would like to go again when more is open because it seemed like it would be a great place. I enjoyed gasoline alley, and all the events happening for the festival. Also the bakery had phenomenal baked goods.

The main townsite is... More

This is such a beautiful and fun place to go at Christmas. Although the weather didn't cooperate this year with the outdoor activities, there was still lots to see and do. There are carolers in the street, gingerbread cookie decorating, a beautiful old model train set up, playing the opera house. We love this place at Christmas it really gets... More

We had family company from Ontario & like us they really enjoyed the brunch at the hotel. As soon the platters became empty they filled them right away. Our server looked after us very well. The coffee was delicious too as we liked ours a bit strong. Will go back again.

We went as an extended family group: three generations. All of us enjoyed ourselves. We did it all: rode the old train; boarded the old ferryboat; ate at the restaurant, and visited most of the houses. Our favourite? The collection of antique cars.
