I have been to quite a few heritage parks around the world but this is by far the best. I was there all day and could easily have spent longer, had it been possible. There is so much to see and experience, from riding on the old steam loco, learning about the first nations, visiting so many interesting historic buildings,... More

Truly a wonderful way to spend the day. The staff is excellant and very friendly, you can tell they like their jobs. Riding on an old steam train, visiting the old buildings and leaning a little about the history. A relaxing day.

Make sure you have a few hours to really take in all there is to see - heritage homes, old time midway rides (extra cost), paddlewheeler on lake, steam train around the park, different era homes and attractions (forts, barns, main street...). Tons of food at different locations, candy store, ice cream parlour, fresh goods at the bakery...a fabulous day... More

Just a 15 minute trip on the C-Train from City Hall station, then a 5 minute bus ride (no. 502) takes you here. Worth every penny. Large place, laid out as in the old west, the staff dressed up and acting as though they are the original inhabitants (bit weird at first, but you get used to it). Lovely old... More

Haven't been here for a long time. Did an amazing job of fixing up all the facilities and the park. You also gotta love when you get to ride in a paddle boat.

Unfortunately, hadn't been in over 6 years. Prices are high inside .ice cream, bakery products ($1.50 cookies and $3.75 cinnamon buns) and the worst is the Midway cheeseburger which is overcooked like a hard hockey puck, tasteless and requires 20 minutes to get it from the grill costing you CAD$10.25. Highlight of the day is the old LIMA 0-6-0 locomotive... More

I have lived in this beautiful city my entire life and did not know that the train at heritage park host a dinner train every Tuesday at 11-2 pm The food was wonderful, the staff efficient and polite. It was a bit costly but worth every $ of it. We toured the park till we were rained heavily upon but... More

A good day out with the chance to see some heritage homes and businesses and learn their history. Lovely grounds for picnic, fairground with old-style rides, modern play area, steam train, horse and wagon and paddle steamer rides included in the admission fee. Car museum has good display of cars through the ages, plus a good play area for younger... More
