The Calgary Tower was the tallest Calgary# structure until several office buildings superceded it. The views of Calgary are still spectacular. A upper class revolving restaurant and an enclosed viewing deck are accessed by an elevator fron street level. Conveniently located in downtown Calgary the...More
Went there for supper, Enjoyed the views over the city at sunset. Food very good, considering the type of setting, and not too extortionate. You will always pay a premium for a setting such as this, so that's just the deal.
Went here for a visit to see Calgary from above, luckily it was a clear day and you could see for miles around. Also had lunch in the revolving restaurant which was pretty cheap and the food was nice. Well recommended for a visit

We went at the end of the day. We had about an hour at the top that was adequate time to enjoy the view and take pictures. There really isn't much up there. The history info on the walls was very interesting and worth a read. Other than a restaurant and snack shop and the history info that's about it. Hardly any people were up there at the last hour of it being open. Hope this helps. Have fun. The views are awesome.
