Kensington is a great area for a walk, a coffee and maybe a treat. If you like to bring back gifts locally made, lunch or dinner that isn't a "franchised" restaurant. This is for you.

Little shops and vintage stores, cafes and restaurants. Great for wandering, and borders the Bow River.

If you're in Calgary for a visit, I highly recommend coming for a look around Kensington. There are a plethora of shops and cafes to keep you interested for hours.

We love going here for a walk and grabbing a coffee from the many coffee shops and do some shopping. There's tons of bars and some shopping stores. Great night life there to grab a few drinks.

It appeared to be a well preserved area for Calgary. They even had a theatre that looked like it had been there a long time. A diff view of the city yet close to down town.

Kensington is the best place in Calgary. Full of great shops, good coffee and food. Spent many days here. I recommend Blue Star for breakfast and the Livery for gifts for friends.

You can find everything here! Coffee places, tea houses, boutiques, restaurants, organic markets, among others. The place has character. You will find very interesting people, art, music...very close to the river!

A charming and welcoming neighbourhood full of boutiques, coffee shops and eating surprises. Don't be afraid to venture down or up some stairs for a special out of the way shop.

Calgary is a nice little oil town. Only problem is, the weather can be soooo cold. Kensington Road is a cute little area in Calgary very close to downtown. If the weather is good you can walk or bike by Bow river. There are shops...More

One of my favourites neighbourhoods at Calgary. Love the small and different stores and bars, proud of being local.
