This is a somewhat small Plaza located in the heart of downtown but has a great spirit. The plaza has a fountain that fills it with water in the summer and creates a much needed breeze and fun for kids to play with. Definitely recommended...More

The Olympic Plaza is located in downtown Calgary. There is some on street parking or a parking garage nearby. We arrived in the evening. I can imagine that on a hot day this place is very crowded. There were people throughout the park but it...More

This is nor really a plaza in the European sense. This is an open space with a shallow water feature where people were cooling off in the heat. It is pleasantly laid out and has all the Canadian Olympians shown on brass plaques.

We loved the statues of famous Canadian women done in bronze. Plus the flowered walls around the splash pool were beautiful. Nice plaques of Olympic champions. Small park but pleasant right in center of town.

Great place to have fun, splash around and soak up the sun. Shady spots for people who want to take a break. Take your lunch down there and enjoy the atmosphere
