A nice park near City Hall and the centre of activity for numerous events. It was a key location during the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. During the Stampede you will find daily activities revolving around the Stampede theme -- including a chuckwagon pancake breakfast.
I love coming here especially when there is an event. Everything is beautiful about it. The flowers, the water and everything else except one thing. Sometimes, there are undesirable people around which can get uncomfortable...but this doesn't stop me from coming and enjoying downtown.
