it's a small inner-city place that's got little to promote it. Reminds me of the usual half-hearted effort that Canadian cities erect but which just fit into the landscape of the city core. I'd not recommend this insipid effort to anyone. Better to go to...More

Directly west of City Hall, there are lots of places to sit and relax. During the winter, the reflecting pond becomes an ice rink.

Stumbled upon this and so glad we did - enjoyed seeing all the names of the athletes and seeing the medals area and torch up close. We had the plaza to ourselves the day we visited so our photos are great.

It's a lovely area with lots of fun artwork and sculptures. A great place for a walk or just to sit down. It's super easy to get to and right in the middle of downtown. Always gorgeous!
