You cannot buy a cup of Tea at the Saddledome! There are really no Gluten free and Dairy free food options as everything is really fast food. The prices for food are outrageous so we eat before we go to anything there.

The arena was set up in a logical fashion with easy to find seats. We loved watching the Calgary Flames vs. Philadelphia. Good game.

I’ve never seen a Hockey game (on ice) before and it was so much fun! I’m sure there are heaps of better more blingy venues but we had a blast! Go and see the Hitmen or even the lacrosse, it’s a great family friendly venue...More

I haven't been here in decades. I was expecting to go into an old building but was surprised just how old and tired it was. To start with the good things first. Great selection of food and drinks with $5 beer specials. The things I...More

The modern hockey fan probably considers this place on an old fairgrounds to be a dump, but I sort of liked its character. In terms of "hockey atmosphere," it had Rogers Place up the road beat, perhaps due to its history (I've never been to...More

I have seen over 40 NHL hockey games and around 20 rock concerts at the Saddledome over the last 38 years. The building is a little bit dated, but I've enjoyed every event that I've attended there.

We came up to see a game here and it Edmonton. The Edmonton rink is newer, but this place was so much better! There was so much history on the walls: everything from their Stanley Cup run, to charity events, international competitions, etc. I love...More

While visiting Calgary we decided to see a Flames Game. Sad to say but this arena is dated compared to the new facilities around the NHL. It seems dark and dingy. We had great seats 2 rows from the ice surface which you can't get...More

No offence to the poor souls that work here, but this arena is truly antiquated, crowded, poorly designed and electronically woefully out of date relative to any other arena built in the last 20 years. The Stampede grounds are also dump-like at night with little...More

The last few regular season Calgary Flames hockey 🏒 games and the playoffs if they make it. The lacrosse team also may have games. Check ticket master or stub hub for concerts

Hi, it was James Taylor I went to see and there were two large screens on either side of the stage. If you check the seating map it should be helpful also. Enjoy the show!

Along McLeod Trail SW there are some motels, they are a short distance to Stampede Park, where the Saddledome is, hope this helps!
