Open May Long weekend to October each year, the streetcar's views of the city and the river are absolutely amazing. This is also the best way to get from the farmer's market to downtown.

When you leave from Old Strathcona the conductor asks if you would like to hear the history of the line and the train. Encourage him to do so as he is a member of the society which founded this attraction and he has interesting things...More

A short ride across the high level bridge gives you a great view of the river and good for some great photo-ops. It only costs 6 bucks for a round trip, well worth it.

When you're visiting Edmonton the High Level Bridge Streetcar is a fun way to get to the other side of the river. There are not many ways to cross the river on foot so this is your best alternative. On the way from Old Strathcona...More

Thank you for your feedback. Our volunteers normally do a narration on the way from Strathcona but not on the way back. If you caught that ride or were on the streetcar during a busy period they would have skipped the narration. Was either the...More

The High Level Bridge Streetcar runs in the summer from Old Strathcona to downtown Edmonton and back. The return trip is 40 minutes and costs $6. It's not exciting, but the views while crossing the High Level Bridge make it worthwhile.
