This winter, the Mayfield brings back one of their most requested holiday revues to celebrate all things Canadian”…Canada Rocks! Tonight we checked out this awesome performance, we laughed, we sang, we danced in our seats…We highly recommend scheduling a date to the Mayfield before January 28th!! Unfortunately our seats were on the very side and we had a table of 4 in front of us making it tough to see the stage-highly reccomend a booth or the table front table of every level. Note we do find the chairs more comfortable than the booth seats. Have fun!Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten December 28, 2023

We went on Valentines Day to see A Night With The King, and we were extremely happy with the whole experience. The food was great, as was the show, but the real surprise was Saman, our server. His attention to detail, constant smile, and hustle made us feel special, as well as others in his area!Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten February 17, 2024
- alex bouzane6 contributionsGREAT SHOWMayfield's latest show, Musicians Gone Wild in NASHVILLE Music City. was undoubtably one of the Great performances this theatre group has produced. The cast with Brad Weibe sporting a leg cast gave an exhilarating performance which included masterful musicians each playing several instruments. the vocals by the very talented cowgirls and cowboys: absolutely wonderful. One could close their eyes and imagine Nashville. Outstanding performance! The performance in the kitchen was also at the 5 Star level, with dishes to delight the most demanding pallet, complimented by the most polite and professional staff. Waylon, Wille and the Boys would be extremely proud of this extremely talented ensemble.Visited November 2021Travelled with familyWritten September 7, 2024

Las Vegas Live” Mayfield Dinner Theatre, Edmonton, Alberta
Having been to Las Vegas numerous times, I was excited to have “Las Vegas Live” come to the Mayfield DinnerTheatre. Memories of dance revues, celebrities, and bright lights came to mind.
As part of a captive audience, I was surprised that the spotlight was continually pushing the LBGTQ+ agenda. The jokes were foul and the gestures suggestive.
This dark theme overshadowed an otherwise talented musical performance. I have always been a fan of the Mayfield Dinner Theatre, bringing my entire family to fabulous performances and delicious buffets. I would not recommend this show to families, but would consider it to be bordering on “Adult” entertainment. In future I will carefully screen any shows at the Mayfield, and opt for “family friendly” venues instead.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your visit to the Mayfield Theatre.
We are sorry to hear that Vegas Live! did not resonate with you. We understand that our plays do not cater to all tastes, but we hope that you are able to attend another show this season that will better relate to your interests. This season was designed to bring in fresh themes and modernized culture with the intention of attracting new patronage to the theatre as our Season Ticket base has significantly decreased since Covid. We apologize that you felt the content was a "pushed agenda" however, as is seen in modern day Hollywood and pop culture, there is a major emphasis on people being themselves and learning to be inclusive and accepting of each other which, is not meant to be "dark" but loving. We are not promoting the themes to the audience, simply incorporating these existing themes into a show designed around Vegas as seen today. I hope that you can understand the need of the Mayfield to depart a strictly 60s, 70s and 80s era to incorporate more modern genres with the hopes that the art and entertainment displayed in the Mayfield can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.
I hope you were able to enjoy the food and service during the buffet portion of your evening at least.
Once again, thank you for your comments. We hope that you are able to enjoy any future attendances for the remainder of the season and we look forward to hosting you again.

The food at the buffet was wonderful. Everything was fresh, flavorful and there were lots of choices from roast beef, fish, chicken pork, sushi, tacos. There was so much choice and variety. Dishes were always kept filled. Staff was very friendly and efficient.
I found the show (Noises Off) a little slow at first and sometimes hard to hear, but was much more enjoyable after the intermission.

Hello and thank you very much for your review of Noises Off at the Mayfield Dinner Theatre. I am so happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed the buffet and the service. The buffet selection is very vast and there is certainly something for everybody. All food items are labelled for the convenience of guests who have allergies and we even have a special meal program for those with severe allergies. Thanks again for the review and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

We recently spent an evening at the Mayfield Dinner Theatre, now that it's open after the Covid shutdown.
Although we have been season ticket holders for over 10 years, we were somewhat hesitant to go, and to see what the evening might be like, given all that has transpired since our last show back in February.
Turns out, we needn't have worried at all. They have done an incredible pivot, in a very short time, and the entire evening was a most pleasant surprise!
The food was delicious and was served hot or cold, accordingly. The staff were most attentive, always on the lookout for what they might do to enhance our evening. The play was very well done. Hats off to the actor who held our attention for almost 2 hours!
Although this is not the typical way of seeing live theater, we came away full, and very impressed with how well the entire process had been laid out. The tables were far enough apart to accommodate social distancing, the staff all wore masks all evening, and the dining/serving protocols that were in place were very impressive.
A job well done. We look forward to the next production!

Thank you for your detailed response regarding your visit to the Mayfield Theatre. Apologies for the delayed response as we have just started up our 22/23 season and are now back to full operation coming out of the pandemic.
Your kind words are appreciated, and we are thrilled to see you were able to enjoy your evening even during such uncertain times in the Pandemic.
The Mayfield takes its Patrons' and Staff's health and safety very seriously and we are glad to hear that you felt this effect.
Now that we have fully reopened, we still offer disposable Food Safe gloves on the buffet to help mitigate any surface to surface contact risks for our guests and hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrances to the buffet.
We hope that you continue to feel safe within our facility so that you may continue to fully enjoy the Mayfield experience.
We look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Its been a while since we went to the Mayfield Inn Dinner theater. The buffet was outstanding, roast beef was a delight. 5/5 for the food.
However this is where 5/5 stops, The play was horrible, the cast tried to make it funny but it was NOT funny at all. Left after the first intermission. Worse play we have ever been to. Rating 0/5

Bravo to the cast and crew of "Keep Calm and Rock On" Despite all the health and safety guidelines, they magically transport you into musical theatre again in a very safe way. For 1 night you can forget about this crazy world we are in, and simply enjoy the thrill of live theatre. I felt very safe and looked after

We have been to many Mayfield Dinner Theatre shows. Virtually all have been good to great. But Vegas was just bad. The extra star was for the buffet which was its usual quality. Vegas should sue for the use and abuse of it's name.
All of us agreed that about 1/2 way through the first 1/2 we had decided to leave at intermission if it continued. It did improve until the intermission and we were hopeful the second half would be as good. Unfortunately the first 1/2 of the second half was again terrible. Things improved and a bunch of decent songs that were at least familiar were strung together near the end.
The show ended with the usual bows and apparently it was expected that there would be a standing ovation calling for an encore. Nope. People were just starting to get their coats on with what was the planned encore started and it was the best act of the entire show.

Food was good as always but lineups were way too long and crowded at the buffet and we were there early. Staff was nice as always. The music part of the Vegas Live production was awesome but the girl named Freaky who filled in the dead air in between acts was childish and vulgar and certainly didn't add to the fun.

Good morning and thank you for taking the time to review your recent attendance to the Mayfield Dinner Theatre.
We apologize that you felt the delays in the buffet were significant. We do our best to help guide lines of guests to both entrances of the buffet to better streamline the flow in the buffet area. As we make this work with attendance counts upwards of 485 guests, it is not always a perfect system and we will do our best to stay on top of monitoring this moving forward.
Thank you for your kind words about the service staff, band and talent. We understand that not all aspects of a show resonate with each guest and we thank you for your feedback regarding character choices. We will take your comments into consideration when designing future performances.
Once again, thank you for your review. We look forward to hosting you back in the future!

This is the second performance at the Mayfield that we did not enjoy - the first one was also a farce. It was loud, boring, far too long and, worse of all, not funny. We are season ticket holders and love all the musicals but please, no more farces.

The Mayfield Dinner Theatre is back, with a winning production of memorable Patsy Cline songs. The singer is terrific to listen to, and the band, as usual, is tight and totally together as they back "Patsy " up throughout the evening.
It was so nice to be back at this venue, and to see that it has come through the Covid lockdowns and restrictions, to be able to open once again.
As always, the food is delicious, the desserts are plenty anf all of the staff were very visibly happy to be back once again, as were
we. Here's hoping that we can all look forward to another great season of top-notch entertainment, delicious offerings at the buffet, and an opportunity to enjoy evenings out once again.

The Vegas Live show was brutal. The show itself was confusing as the main character spoke to the audience as if she was a small child with an annoying voice, but this was paired with rude vulgar jokes that were inappropriate for families and young children. Don’t waste your money on this show. The food as usual was very good. The entertainment was terrible. I would not be happy paying to see this show if it wasn’t part of the dinner and evening. We chose to stay for the entire show, but the performances were so bad and the jokes were something you would have heard in a jr high playground. Jokes about banana’s in your pants and the like are not clever and boring to hear and see. This went on for the entire show.

We are sorry to hear that Vegas Live! did not resonate with you. We understand that our shows do not cater to all tastes, but we hope that you are able to attend another show this season that will better relate to your interests. Your comments regarding the show's dialogue will be passed on to the Artistic Director and Director of Production for consideration. Since the opening of the show, the script has seen some revisions and updates to try to reduce any possible unnecessary content that may be seen as offensive to some viewers.
Please understand that this script did not receive as many changes as the Mayfield would normally consider due to our upcoming show in the spring, Rock of Ages. This Broadway style show has significantly heavier content and Vegas Live! was meant to be a light humor show that allowed us to introduce some edgier content prior to it's debut.
Thank you for your feedback regarding the quality of food and service. We are happy that you were able to enjoy the buffet and that it met your expectations of quality that we continually deliver.

Don't dress for dinner. will be playing now till April 10th. Their shows are fabulous, we have seasons tickets and in the last two years only one wasn't absolutely fabulous. I rate them a a 10, and the food is great, no matter where you sit will be good.
