It's getting more commercial, but old Strathcona is still a fun and funky place to grab a coffee and go for a walk.

When visiting Edmonton make sure you tour this area. It has a great Farmers' Market, a departure point for the High Level Bridge Streetcar, and all kinds of great eateries, pubs, and shops.

Great place to walk around, shop, eat, and have a drink with a friend. We stopped at the market and looked around, and ended up going back to Whyte Ave just to people watch and grab a bit to eat.
