Excellent venue for all concerts available to see. Try to catch as many as possible as no other spot I have been compares. Usually pricing is reasonable as well. It is a smaller seating area only holding 1716, but this adds to the intimacy giving a real close up feel. Hoping for many more opportunities in the future.

We went for a Paul Brandt concert. So of course being a huge fan, it was going to be good. It blew us away the actual spirit and music culture and sense of theater. 1st class standing! We will absolutely be returning!

My friend and I have season tickets to Robbins Pops. I have never had an experience where I left feeling less than totally exhilarated. The Edmonton Symphony orchestra playing in this fabulous venue is just plain magic.

Friendly helpful staff everywhere. Drink lines moved quickly. Show was fantastic with fun and casual atmosphere! Wheelchair area easy to access and could see and hear very well from there. Bathroom is accessible and clean! Definitely a great place to visit!

Love this venue. Seat spacing is generous and comfortable. You can get a drink at the breaks. Not a bad seat in the house.

This is a fabulous, world-class concert hall. The acoustics have been declared some of the best in the world, and you can certainly tell. Situated on Edmonton’s main square, in the Arts District, it is home to the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and hosts many other concerts and events. A must-see on any Edmonton itinerary.

Absolutely incredible facility! Beautiful! An excellent facility for a concert or symphony! A feast for the eyes! Only drawback was the security and such - extremely strict and not inviting at all... employees definitely not trained to make you feel welcome. Bar/Etc. was quite expensive but this tends to be the norm for this type of place.

Does the lybrary parkade have direct elevator access in to the lybrary it self? so if if anyone plans to go to the lybrary before there after noon performents they can do so with out ventureing out in to the cold and or going in to the pedway on level l c or c aka lower and main concourse?

is there free parking at back of winspear?
Written May 21, 2019
Least expensive would be one block east between 102 and 102a avenue, surface Impark lot.

Yes, as others have said, you would normally buy tickets to see musical artists here. Edmonton is home to an excellent symphony orchestra, so you can’t go wrong.

City Hall Parkade (underground), the Citadel Theatre or Library parkades. All are within 1 block of the Winspear. The City Hall parkade has underground pedways that a person can use to go from the parkade to the Winspear, which allows one to leave their coat in their vehicle. I'm not sure if there are underground pedways from the other two parking lot. My #1 go-to is City Hall parkade.

what do you have on, for August 25th, 2017?
Written July 12, 2017
Nothing on at Winspear. Don't despair the Fringe is on from 17 to 27 August. Go to old Strathcona and enjoy. Tickets for all the venues will be available on line.

I believe that it depends on the organizers of the show. It varies.
