About
Expect the unexpected! Our Dinner Theatre features a three act musical comedy, with a multi-course meal served by our character servers. You'll start with salad, move on to one of our amazing entrees, and end with your choice of two desserts. It's a live show so anything can happen. Play along and the actors might just include you in the act! Each show features both classic and modern hit songs - we dare you not to sing along.

    Not Our Best Experiences
We've been going to shows at Jubilations for many years. The last couple of visit have not been our best experiences. The shows themselves are very good. Our issues were with the bar service. In our previous visit, in October, we did not receive our drink orders before the show started. We did inquire where our drinks were a couple of times, and were told each time that they were on the way. The other people at our table received drinks they ordered after us, and we did not get our drinks until after the first act. They did comp our drinks, which we were appreciative of, but still, it dampened our experience a bit. In our last visit, we also had issues with the bar. First the bar was completely out of clamato, how this happens we do not understand, but my husband could not get his drink because of this. Then we found out we could not get any frozen drinks as the machine was down. We were told it was down from the evening before, so why they did not deal with that before the next evening performance was disappointing.

    Another fun time!
We had great seats and my granddaughter had a blast. This is an annual Christmas event for us. Even though our granddaughter is getting older, she still loves this. The interaction between the audience and cast is amazing and the kids just love it. The noise, the mayhem, are all part of the day! The food is great.

    Campy and Fun
Very entertaining production with good performers and a tasty meal. We saw Crocodile Rock; The Legend of Elton John and lots of great music from the 60s through the 2000s. Service staff were exceptional!

    Worth every nickel and more!!
Great show and great venue! We really enjoyed the whole experience. The actors were very good and had amazing singing voices. They also doubled as staff to assist with seating and serving and did a great job, as did the primary serving staff. This is a really fun time at a very good price.

Date Night or Family Night, It’s Always a Treat!
We flew into the danger zone with “Maverick” and the rest of the crew for another wonderful Jubilations experience! We have attended many times over the years and never been disappointed. The food is delicious (crisp salad, 6 choices of entree, great desserts) and served by cast members in character. The musical itself was really well done! The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun. Well done, Edmonton cast!

    Jubilations continues to deliver!
We have never been disappointed at Jubilations, and this time was no exception. The food is good and nicely paced through the performance. The performances are always great: clever plots, good comic relief, and of course great singing!

    Fantastic dinner theatre
The fire alarm for the mall went off after act 2. Everyone had to exit. But Jubilations called each patron and offered to rebook at another date to see the end of the show. Couldn't ask for anything more. The show was great as always.

    High quality production
We were very impressed by how talented the actors were, how great the singing was and how cleverly done the set was. The serving staff were very kind and diligent. From the moment we arrived, they let me know that they were aware of the food allergy that I had called ahead about and went to great lengths to ensure I still had a good meal.
Thank you so much for reviewing us! It is so wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your experience and we can't wait to have you back again for another show!

    Disappointed all around
The show was a disappointment compared to others that have been . The title was deceiving it leads you to think it will be Beach Boys songs, but there was not many of theirs at all. The story was kind of boring and one of the main characters did not even make eye contact with the audience which is what is usually the fun thing about the shows here. The food this time around again disappointing. Cold over cooked corn on the cob the roast beef was tough and the servers took until everything was getting cold to bring the condiments. I would still give the place another chance but I would not recommend The Beach Boys of Summer
Thank you for your candid review, we appreciate hearing all kinds of feedback as this helps us raise the bar to bring better programming and improved dining experiences to our guests. We do hope you will try us again at another show and hopefully your experience will be an amazing one. Again, our sincere appreciation we hope to see you soon!

If you are looking for some awesome entertainment and great food I suggest this venue. They never fail to impress.
I have been here several times. The staff, actors and food never fail to impress. The show players interact with the crowd which is awesome, they are fun and entertaining. I highly recommend this theatre. I look forward to the next time I can go.

We have been season holders for about 15 years. The talent has always been good but it seems in 2019 they really upped their game. The singing and dancing is exceptional in the last show Country Star! The shows are very entertaining and the meals are something I look forward to as well. I usually have the prime rib and this last visit I could literally cut it with my fork. My husband was raving about the ribs. The dinks are pretty pricey The servers are very fun. Some of them are sooo quick with their in character comebacks. It’s also fun to see audience members on stage. They won’t make you go if you don’t want to. We think it is the best entertainment back for your buck in Edmonton! And I get to dress up. Lol

To give some background, we usually take in 3-4 Jubilations Junior shows a year for the past few years and are always satisfied. On Aug 5th, we attended Teenage Mutant Kung Fu Turtles show ( 2 adults, one 9 yr old child). Although the show was typical for 'Juniors', the meal provided was an absolute joke. We knew they would be serving Pizza and expected ONE Pizza per Guest. For $150, we received a small veggie plate for each, one basket of chips and ONE medium sized pizza for the 3 of us. An extra $20 got us a pitcher of non-alcoholic 'juice'. The house rules were ONE medium pizza for 3 guests- pretty bad considering the 9 year old could almost eat one pizza. The pizza quality was comparable to a store bought 'value priced' frozen boxed pizza and was warm - absolutely disappointing compared to previous meal offerings where adults would get a beef or chicken meal and for the kids an adequate menu.
As this was a 5pm show, this was supposed to be dinner for the 3 of us. We asked our server for extra basket of chips - unfortunately they were all gone. I praise her for checking after all the tables had been served and found one extra pizza for us to share. I can not recommend attending this show unless they make changes. I can't justify spending $150 for ONE medium pizza to share and then having to find a restaurant after the show.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry your recent visit wasn't up to our usual standards. The current menu was chosen after overwhelming feedback from our customers, nothing is set in stone though. We take all feedback into consideration and will forward this on. We do hope to see you for another show soon!

Most of the performers had very strong voices and performed the music of ABBA very well. I would suggest that perhaps everyone should be fed around the same time as we had to wait until the first half of the performance was over before we were given our main meal. It is a royal pain to be asked to pay at the end of the performance for any alcohol as it was already 10 pm - bring cash! I would edit the collection of table napkins by one of the staff members by stuffing in his clothing - gross. Over $15.00 for one glass of wine was a little much.

This was my first visit to Jubilations dinner theatre. The act "Heartbreak Hotel" was certainly well put together with a very energetic cast. The music was divine and the Jubilations space has great acoustics. I enjoyed the musical as did the rest of my family. However, I was not a fan of the dinner apportioned between the 3 acts. We had salad first, then Act 1, main course, then Act II, dessert, then Act III. I would much prefer to have enjoyed all of my dinner then sip coffee or other beverages while enjoying the show without interruption. I suppose a half time would have been ok. But this sandwiching of food between segments of the show was a turn off. I feel it wasted a lot of time. The programme suggested 3 hours for the entirety of the experience. However, it was 4 hours before curtain call.

I would hesitate to return even though I think Jubilations put up a good show. I just dont want to go through this 3 act circus again.

We had to adjust to this dinner theatre as it was a little different from what we have experienced at other venues. It would have been nice if the person seating us had asked us if we had been there before. Then they might have explained what to expect overall. The main difference, for us, was eating at intervals in the show. It was still good but we had no idea that this is what would happen so, initially we were confused. Unfortunately, the server was not well-engaged, in fact he was hard to understand, each and every time we conversed. It was a little disconcerting. The food was good and it was nice to be served (not a buffet). The show was great and we thought the sound system was excellent. That is always important to us. The quality of the cast showed and the sets were well done too. I would go again.

Hi Brenda, Thank you so much for your feedback. I apologize that your visit was negatively impacted by the structure of our experience. I will be sure to pass along your comments to our GM and Floor Manager. I would love it if you could email me (groupsales.edm@jubilations.ca) more information regarding your server so that I can get more details in order to do the coaching with our team. We want all of our servers to be engaging and fun, not a character where our guests are required to decode what they are saying. Beyond all that, I am thrilled to hear that despite these setbacks, you would still come back and visit us again. I do hope to hear from you soon and see you back again for another show.

My wife and I enjoyed the performance of the Wedding Singer, the service and the meal on the night of July 15, 2023 at West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton. The only disappointment was arriving to find out that we were not a table of 2, but we were sitting directly beside a group of 4 people we did not know. I feel that we were not made aware of his when booking and thus took away our opportunity for a private night with my wife. So, either go with a group of 6-8 people or expect to sit with people unfamiliar to you. The Mayfield Dinner Theatre has betting seating opportunities for couples and thus will be our next choice if going by ourselves.

We started to attend the Elton John show on the above date. The pre show was great we had a few beverages. The servers of course are playing there parts for the show got it.
But when you order a beverage you expect service . I addressed the management & just asked if they could fulfill that roll it seemed to cause an issue. The young lady was offended that we asked for a round apparently that was wrong.
Thing is she seemed offended so the staff told us we would have a different server.
At that point I was done with the whole event, this was supposed to be an anniversary night for us which your company put a very bad end to our outing.
I get you are trying to put on an event there is a fine line of service & show.
We left before our meal as I’m not being treated in this manner.
I will also pass this on to all my military currently serving & veteran’s to stay clear of this company.
We drove in at -40 for 3 hours to see this show booked a hotel to be treated like less than what we are. Very disappointed.

Schipp’s Creek was a very funny show. I had not seen the tv show so I didn’t know the characters but that didn’t matter. The singing was very impressive. We have seen shows on Broadway NYC and the vocals were just as good especially the gal who played Moira. The food was good as usual I like not buffet because I stuff myself at a buffet. They were a little faster with drinks this time. I wish they would get the drink orders out before worrying about the salads always an issue for our group. We will renew our 5 show subscription for sure!

Disappointed in A Christmas Toys Story performance. While the singers and actors were great, the show itself was not much of a Christmas show geared for younger children. Songs like Rocket Man ( Elton John), Happy (Pharrell Williams) songs by the Beatles would not be much recognized by the younger audience. Expected more of a Christmas theme at this time of year more geared to younger children given the title was “A Christmas Toys Story”.

Location is on the 2nd floor of the WEM. You can wait in a crowded lounge until they open the doors. A performer takes you to your table. They have a decent selection of drinks. The food was all excellent. Service is by one of the performers (although not the main characters). The singing was phenomenal. The play itself was so-so but the point really is just to cram in as many Beatles songs as possible. We sat down front which I recommend, but even the back row here is fine.
