So I went with my mom, and she was quite skeptic about the tour. We did the old scona tour. However, once the tour started and the owner started telling the stories everything was amazing. The tour itself is so refreshing, the stories and the way they are told by the owner is very captivating, and once she starts talking she gather everyone’s attention. The stories told are creepy, historical, some chilling. We both loved the tour and are looking forward to more. We plan to come with my cousins and family!

This is a great affordable activity for a couple, friends or families with older children. You get to hear some great ghost stories along with some history of the Old Strathcona and Univeristy of Alberta.
If you go in October or November, dress warm as you will be walking outdoors for anywhere from and hour to two.

We had a great time on the Ghost Tour in Old Strathcona! Nadine is entertaining, efficient and knowledgeable. This is the second time I've done the tour (my first time was about 3 or 4 years ago), and the first time for my boyfriend. Grab a hot drink beforehand and it's a great little "date night" idea; quick and inexpensive and you get to learn some fun facts about historic sites in and around the Whyte Ave district. I would definitley like to try some of the other tours they offer. Just be sure to dress warm if you're going when the temp starts to drop (late October)

Tour operator was unmasked the whole time in a sealed streetcar with 35 people inside. Stories were hyperbolic and boring. The streetcar itself was fabulous, as were the volunteers who maintain it, who were all properly masked as per provincial regulations. Would not recommend, for interest and safety reasons.

We did the Old Strathcona Ghost Tour with Nadine. It was our first ghost tour and she is very very friendly and so insightful. She tells the ghost stories in such a way that it brings everything alive and she has an amazing sense of humour. We are not from Edmonton but we have already decided the next time we are in Edmonton we will definitely be doing the other 2x ghost tours that Nadine offers. Well worth the money !!

My daughter and I did the University of Alberta Ghost Tour. Both of us learned so much of the history of the buildings, the people who lived in them and the stories of the believed apparations who inhabit the buildings. Nadine is a natural storyteller and took the time to get to know the people on the tour and areas that would interest them. We booked because my daughter loves reading ghost stories and I love learning about local history. It was a wonderful tour!

We enjoyed this tour. Nadine was engaging, friendly and a wealth of historical/haunting knowledge. The walking part was well laid out. My two teens thought the whole experience was great. Would definitely recommend for tourist as Nadine seems to know a ton about the city and would likely be happy to recommend great experiences. We are local and enjoyed learning the history of the local hauntings. Being an outdoor activity is also a bonus at this time!

Did the UofA haunted hike tonight and loved it. This was my third tour (previously did haunted pub, and Old Strathcona tours) with Nadine and it was fantastic yet again. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about the area and its history. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves learning about history, likes to get a little creeped out, or just likes to hear a good story. Two thumbs up.

Nadine was very informative and capitivating and her knowledge was way beyond my expectations. What a wonderful experience. Who knew all this scary stuff happened in Edmonton. The history was amazing to hear. Such a great way to see Edmonton and learn about the history. Would definetly do this again. Now I need to check out the

This tour is excellent and well worth the time and money. There were many stories and locations packed in to the experience and I was amazed at how well the stories were researched, told expressively and how they kept my interest throughout. Nadine was very sensitive and accommodating with my senior mother and young teenage daughter. I would definitely recommend this tour!
