When we visited Miette hot springs it was relatively cool and we had been camping for several days without access to heat or showers. It was so nice to use the showers there and soak up some warmth in the hot springs! The view is beautiful as well! The only reason I gave it a four is that it was... More

Directions: Take the Yellowhead highway, AB-16, about 24 miles north of Jasper. Turn right onto Miette Hot Springs Rd. and drive about 10 miles to the springs parking lot located to the left just after the resort buildings. It’s about a 50 minute drive. A 15 minute soak in the hot springs pool provided a unique finish to my hike... More

We stayed at Pocahontas Cabins, so just down the road. However, it takes probably at least 30 minutes to drive into the hot springs. Well worth it, though. Admission price is reasonable, and the facility is very nice. There are two pools with different temperatures. There are also two cold pools, as in freezing cold. The views surrounding the pools... The pools are in a beautiful setting. Admission is quite cheap, and towels are for rent at a small fee. There are many changing cabins and showers, in a good state and fairly clean, The lockers don't return the dollar you put in, so be aware of that. There are 2 large hot pools and 2 small cold pools. Of... More

Amazing views from all 4 pools; a large hot, large warm, small cold and small freezing pools. They supply towels if you need them for an additional charge but bring your own water bottle to keep hydrated. You may want to take flip-flops as they ask you to remove your shoes before going through to the locker rooms. The lockers take... More

Long drive leading to a quaint pool of thermal water surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery you have ever laid eyes on! We were literally sitting in 100 degree water with snow covered mountains and trees rising above us. Must visit! Quick 30 minute drive from Jasper. Beware, long and winding road is part of this drive, so if you're... More

Lovely and warm and much appreciated on a cold day end of september. You can even rent swim suits and they offer free flotation devises for children. Relaxing and not expensive.

There are 4 pools at the hot springs - one warm, one hot, one cold, one very cold. Despite the cool outside air, it was lovely to be in the water and less lovely to leave it! Admission price is reasonable (about $5-6) and you can rent towels. Although we went there in the morning, I can imagine how soothing... More

These hot springs are definitely a splendid place to stop in and relax at while travelling. There are 4 pools with varying temperatures from 41c to 13c and the raw pleasure of transferring from these 2 extremes is exhilarating and relaxing all in one. I had pretty achy fingers and a sore neck before we jumped in and by the... More

If you're looking for a nice relaxing soak in the hot pools, go after all the kids are back in school! Imagine the carnage of a hundred screaming brats splashing around in those luxurious pools in August... And then picture the tranquility of laying back to a nice calm, quiet, peacefull slice of heaven once the kids are gone. Take... More
