Awesome!
Jul. 2021
This was such a cool experience! Very knowledgeable guide in the tram (we had the same one on the way up and down) who answered our questions and had lots of information about the area. The view from the top was incredible. I was expecting it to be colder at the top of the mountain but it was quite warm from the sun. Bring water, sunglasses, hat, snacks if you're planning to stay up there for a while.
We didn't do our research beforehand and only planned for about an hour at the top. We would have taken more time and done the full summit hike had we known about it.

10/10 recommend and would do again!

Too chilly in July also
Excellent service and an essential way to get amazing views from the top of the Whistlers Mountains. The employees there were amazing and their covid precautions were great. I'd say if you buy a ticket for the SkyTram definitely do the summit hike and even in July a bit of snow but the views are unbelievable plan your trip around the weather if you can. Kids enjoy a lot.

Great family experience!
Jul. 2021 • Family
A great family activity! Highly recommend taking advantage of the early bird reduced rates in the first hour or so of opening because you save money on tickets and avoid the crowds. We have young children and found 1.5 hrs long enough, just bring a snack you can enjoy atop the mountain. You get to select a time to come down, which is great, as it helps avoids line ups.

Bring water, a warm sweater or raincoat if it's a wet day, sunscreen, a hat and wear good shoes! You'll likely want to explore the trails even if you aren't a big hiker.

Take your time at the top!!
The tram ride up was not super exciting and the flight attendant seemed somewhat on auto pilot. But wow what a view up there! We did not hike up to the very top but did spend about an hour just walking around, looking at the rocks, looking at the views, checking out the Alpine flowers. Definitely worth it!

Terrible customer service
May 2021 • Couples
Just went to this place today.
We had a very bad customer service experience!
We bought a ticket that didn’t mention a specific arrival time.
Once we arrived, we discovered that they had booked us at a random time later in the day. We asked to go either at the time we arrived or to get a refund and they offered none of these option. Very inconvenient. We had to cancel the other plans we had for the day.

Hello Natalie, Thank you for taking the time to reach out with your feedback, we are constantly striving to make our guest’s journey seamless. We apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. Booking through a 3rd party website is supposed to create an easy and enjoyable journey. During these unprecedented times and rapidly changing policies to ensure the utmost safety, we have had to limit the capacity on our Trams. This has caused popular times throughout the day to book out quicker than normal. Because of this, we have implemented directions on what to expect and how to guarantee your desired flight time through the 3rd party websites, sometimes you have to scroll down to see this information. Jasper SkyTram also has an internal policy to reach out to all guests who book through 3rd party; unfortunately we were unable to reach you to solidify your desired time. In lieu, we booked you a flight time to ensure you could go up the tram on your desired date. In regards to being denied a refund, you have to request that directly from the 3rd party, as that is who you booked and paid with. I would recommend, for the future, booking directly with Jasper SkyTram to ensure you get your preferred flight time. We will continue to work with our 3rd party sellers to ensure the information we want our guests to receive is done effectively. Warm Regards, Baillie Guest Service Supervisor

Well worth it
Apr. 2021 • Couples
The price may seem a lot but the ride and the views it offers are well worth it!!! We were not disappointed at all!!!! The hike up to the summit was not as bad as I though. For someone with very bad asthma, it was not a bad hike.

We had a fantastic time at the Jasper SkyTram! The views are astonishing and I love the amount of history this small day trip can pump out. The staff were all personable, knowledgeable, and looked like they enjoyed working there. On the ride up to the top of the mountain, our guide pointed out the several peaks, lakes, and other areas of interest with ease and enthusiasm. The gift shop at the top of the mountain is probably the most reasonably priced in Jasper (although you have to pay for a lift ticket, of course). We didn't have an opportunity to dine here but the views were all we needed. Lastly, I'd like to commend our guide on our way down, Tayah, for being so kind and easy to talk to! If you haven't yet, take the ten(ish) minute drive from downtown and enjoy this excursion!

One of Jasper's highlights
Sep. 2020
This was the third visit in thirty years to this attraction, and it's always worth the visit.

I was fortunate to have mostly clear weather. The views were superb.

This visit there was time to walk up to the summit. It's a very worthwhile hike, but don't underestimate it even though it is relatively short. Parts of it are quite steep, so hiking boots are helpful in order to have proper grip. Also, this is at elevation, so breathing will not be as easy as at lower elevation - take your time! It's not as easy as it would be closer to sea level.

Both the actual summit and the lower 'false summit' as worth hiking to, as they give different views. The false summit gives a great view to the south over the Athabasca River valley, whereas the actual summit gives a great view to the southwest and west (towards Yellowhead Pass).

Corey's customer service was amazing
Oct. 2020 • Couples
Customer service huge shout out to Corey absolutely above and beyond. Greatly appreciated. We had purchased a package and Corey really help us have the best experience we could have asked for considering the weather and circumstances. Corey was very kind. Patient. Effecient and was able to get back to us within an hour. Thank Corey. The weather wasn't the greatest and we weren't able to see much but it was worth the experience. We will definitely be back because of Corey.
