Morning started rainy and overcast but by 11:00 the rain had stopped and we watched for the clouds to lift while we ate lunch outdoors in Jasper. Paying our bill, we saw that it was clear and decided to go. Stunning vistas. We could see many miles--a real treat for our group of "flatlanders" from the states.

This was great. Yes, it's pricey, and maybe that's not your thing, but the view is absolutely gorgeous. At the top be prepared for a little hike/climb up to the top. Some tourists were *not* prepared and it seemed to go badly for them. Very peaceful up away from the crowds.

A great experience. My husband and I walk up to the top of the mountain to find it breathtaking. The views of Jasper and the mountains is spectacular.

Caught the sky tram late in the day (around 4pm) so few people were around. Stunning view of the town of Jasper and surrounding mountains. Well-marked walking trails from the top of the cablecar, for an even better view higher up. A 'must-do' in Jasper.

It's close to jasper townsite and well worth the trip. The tram is cramped but the ride is only about 10 minutes

A local told us about going after 6:00 p.m. in the evening and asking for the $10 dinner special when you purchase your ticket for the tram. It was not crowded, we had a lovely dinner and got to watch the sunset. Definitely go for the sunset as its the best place to watch. If you want to see pictures... More

Make sure you have a couple of hours for this activity so you can experience all the views and at least one hiking trail (do not go up on the last run of the day or you're only have one hour). The 360 degree views defy description. You can see Jasper, Mount Robson and Whistler and many other mountain ranges.... More

In the summer I took my daughter for a get-away weekend in Jasper. There are so many things to do but you can beat the views you get from taking the Sky Tram. I've been up many times and I'm speechless every time. The Sky Tram is worth it when you go to Jasper.

I visited the sky tram first in late August when there was snow up at the higher altitudes. Visibility was poor as I hiked from the tram site to the summit (just over 1 Km), but the fog was beautifully eerie. As I descended back to the tram for lunch, the sun came out and produced a beautiful rainbow!! Lunch... More
