We have been to many astronomy presentations which included private tours stargazing with astronomers in Cabo San Lucas to the top of Mount St. Helens in Washington, and the outback of Australia at Uluru and this experience was in our opinion top rated. The planetarium...More

A few days ago "4oceanlovers" came to our Far Out Friday event at The Jasper Planetarium. We had been told that "4oceanlovers" might review our activity but were not prepared for the level of detail and enthusiasm they provided. These guys are well-traveled and specifically...More

We went to see the 10 pm show. The show is about 30 minutes long after which you can look through multiple telescopes, including an automated one connected to a monitor. They also have many binoculars you can have use during the aftershow. The presentation...More

Awesome event. Great, knowledgeable people who show you the night sky. Full of enthusiasm. Little tip; choose the chairs in the middle for zero gravity viewing. Will go again. The sky changes and clear nights are great; so what you view also changes.

If it is not cloudy you'll see tons of stars. We went in May and saw tons but it was a clear night.
