The gem of Southern Alberta is celebrating it's 50th year with cultural activities and the very best omotenashi (hospitality) every day. Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden season officially begins Saturday May 13th and the season runs to Sunday October 8th. Enjoy the Lethbridge Japanese Garden from the first spring blossom to the final autumn leaf.

We stopped in for some great pictures ant took part in the formal tea ceremony. It was an amazing process to watch and don't be afraid to take part in it.

Extremely thoughtful design of this Japanese Garden makes it stand out from the ordinary. Very peaceful. Definitely worth a visit.

Japanese gardens situated in Lethbridge are 50 years old this year 2017, entry fee per adult $9 dollars. Tranquil gardens best visited after sun set as the lighting situated around the park add a different vibe !

If you are driving through Lethbridge, this makes a nice stop. For a Japanese garden it has its limitations as it had to adapt to the Canada weather. For $9 it is a little expensive for such a small garden. However, the weekend we visited...More

The cost of admission is $9 Adult; Sr. (60+) is $6; youth 6 -17 is $4; 5 and under no charge. There are tours at 10am, 1pm, and 5 pm. The hours of operation are from 9am with the last entrance admissions allowed at 5:30pm... More
