Dour
Feb. 2021
The Medicine Rock in here is an attraction. Oldman River shores had some filth and discarded single use utensils. View of the bridge is dour.

Lots of parking, lots to see and do!
Jun. 2020
This is a lovely picnic park, lots of tables, and lots of trails and playgrounds to keep the family entertained. The gorgeous Viaduct is also there to gawk at - it's a truly amazing bridge. It also borders on the Old Man River, and on our recent visit, we were thrilled to see small group of American White Pelicans there. Well done Lethbridge! We also enjoyed seeing the horses that they are keeping at the adjacent Fort Whoop-Up.

Walk
Feb. 2020 • Friends
Went for a walk with friends on a winter day when it was too windy to ski. Down in the river bottom was very nice and sheltered. And the stairs offer more exertion to get your heart pumping! Very nice to have this park right in the heart of the city.

Nice place to visit with little ones, there's a covered patio to sit and have a picnic and a little play park.
Also a nice spot to take pictures from the Bridge.

Indian Battle Park gives you many amazing trails to explore, to walk your pets, for runs and biking. You can also arrange a nice family BBQ when the weather is nice.

Favorite spot in Lethbridge

Very nice and well maintained park with picnic facilities. Also has an interesting nature centre on the north end and connects with a nature park on the north. Fort Whoop Up historical restoration of the original trading post for is also part of the park and an additional less developed are of parkland with an excellent walking trail is connected on the south.

My wife and I walk here regularly (once or twice a week) weather permittiing.

Great trails!
Jun. 2019 • Couples
Our plans to explore on Mtn bikes was moved east due to wet weather out west. Never thought I would say let’s go biking in Lethbridge... so glad we did! Trails were fun, park was nice and the train bridge is so cool! A great day exploring on bikes.

Trails

Several paths to choose from as well as stairs for some cardio. If you like rollerblading the path is excellent for that. Beautiful in all seasons but especially during fall for all the beautiful fall colours. Kids have plenty of room to roam, climb, play, ride bikes.

Large park
Oct. 2018 • Family
The park was great for walking dogs and was well kept. There is a fun playground to older kids 6-13 ish. If you like trains there are lots of viewing areas to see the trains go by.

Great walking through natural areas
Aug. 2018 • Couples
This park incorporates a number of trails along the bottom of a coulee where a battle was fought between two groups of First Nations peoples. It's primarily a nature walk - there is a good variety of habitats along the way, with opportunities to view a range of bird and wildlife species. You also get a great view of the famous Lethbridge train bridge. Well worth a look!
