Another Great weekend spent at Tail Creek.

New managers Sandra and her husband on site are improving the campground every day. The managers this year are very friendly and checking to make sure everything is alright without being a bother. They are working hard to improve this little piece of paradise. The campsites are great just the right size, with privacy and with the feeling of being in the wilderness. Here you can float on the river or watch the ball tournaments they have. This is a great place for a ball tournament with room for everyone to camp. This is just a short drive from Red Deer and a great getaway for the weekend. Will definately be going back again and again. Keep up the good work.

Always a nice spot to set up camp

Back for the third time this summer, and once again enjoyed the floating on Red Deer River, easy access to the Mud Run at Canyon Ski Hill, and comfy approach of the management team.
Know that you can't bring in your own firewood, and it is pricey to buy at $10 per bundle. Also note that every unit is charged $22 per night, so adding a tent to your trailer site will cost you double.
Very clean, and looks like they're expanding access to waterfront sites.

Surprising little campground short drive from Red Deer

Enjoy floating on the river, relaxing in the trees, or plan you next group booking or ball tournament - three regulation diamonds on site.
So surprised by this sweet campground right on the Red Deer River. Hosts were most helpful, price was great and atmosphere most pleasant. Only drawback may be the sound of the Ethanol plant up the road, but it does become white noise after a while. The river was warm and gentle and shallow - great place for a float.
