Went with extended family to Barkerville for Canada Day 2018. Enjoyed the historical display of this part of our BC history. Have done Fort Edmonton years earlier and thoroughly enjoyed seeing Barkerville. Age range of family was from newborn, 13 - 55.

Had never heard of this place until the Williams Lake visitors centre recommended it. Definitely a drive to get to it but well worth spending the day (and night if you want to take an evening show). Really cool area, fun re-enactments of the time...More

We used the kennels , cost was 10 for a medium for the day. They are off to the side of the administration building outside covered. They do not look after your dog. You will need to come back a few times to check on your... More
