My husband and I have been fishing with Bluewater Rockies for several years now. We have never been disappointed with Bluewater Rockies. From the boats to the gear to the guides...5 stars across the board! This most recent trip in early November we fished Sturgeon for 3 days and we successfully landed FIFTY sturgeon over those 3 days which included a 9 foot plus trophy!! We couldn't be happier with Bluewater Rockies and will continue to come back as long as we are 6 feet above ground and can still pull on fish!!! Chris and his crew are the BEST!!!

If you are planning a fishing trip to BC - this is the company to go with ! . . From start to finish, absolutely fantastic contact and straightforward simple booking process. We enjoyed one day on the Harrison River under the expert guidance of Pat and had the most memorable days fishing ever (and we live in the Highlands of Scotland surrounded by rivers and lochs stuffed with fish !). Planning another visit in 2024 and will be contacting Chris to arrange some more fishing. Just the best, most knowledgeable guides to be had on the Harrison River.

Planned a sturgeon trip for my husband and his friends with Chris and it couldn't have been better. Communication during planning was very prompt and well explained. Highly recommend! Will definitely go with Chris again if we ever plan another trip down the road.

If you are looking for a great day out on the water i would highly recommend Chris and his team!! We recently completed a business Sturgeon Fishing trip with Chris and Pat which turned out to be an epic day. Not only did we bring in quite a few Sturgeon on the day both Chris and Pat were top notch and professional in everything they did!! I would highly recommend them if you truly want to have a great day on the water.

Great guides great gear and great location
Beautiful scenery and the fishing was amazing, we caught two over 8 feet and had two more on that we lost that were absolute monsters!

Chris was awesome. He knows his stuff and makes sure you have an enjoyable trip. We caught several sturgeon over 7' long. Would book with Chris again, for sure.

Booked for a bucket list and bachelor party. There were 4 of us on the trip and had an absolutely amazing time. Booking was easy and issue free, nothing got missed and directions for licences were easy to follow. We stayed in Harrison the night prior, got up and made our way to the boat launch about 30 mins away for 7 AM. We met Pat and jumped on the boat. Was a great boat, lots of room for the 4 of us, the top was up in the case of rain and headed out. Pat got us to our first stop in about 30 mins, the ride alone was pretty awesome, jet boating in the mountains, how's that not awesome on it's own? Once we arrived at the first spot, Pat gave us a tour of the lures and bait to be used as well as equipment. We had booked an 8 hour day. Within the first 30 mins or so of bait in the water we had our first fish on. With a good fight and some laughter we got a 5' sturgeon to the boat, up and in. Pat went through the fish with us and identified the unique aspects of a sturgeon for us. The remainder of the day we got an additional 7 fish to the boat, had another 5 or 6 on that didn't make it to the boat. The largest being the 5' fish of the day, but many more close. Pat had a lunch provided for us which was spectacular and a great day all in all. Great weather, great scenery, great fishing and an awesome guide . We are all avid fishermen, have done much inland, lake, river, and deep sea, and this experience certainly stands at the top of any prior trips. We will be back, and have to blame Pat for a now addiction we all feel we have. Would recommend 10/10 every day!!

Our family of six recently went on a 4-hour juvenile sturgeon fishing and tagging trip with Chris from Blue Water Rockies Sportfish Guiding. This was such an amazing trip and it truly exceeded our expectations!
With Chris, our family of two adults and six kids aged 4-15 were able to actively participate in fishing for juvenile sturgeon, and assisting with the measurements, tagging, documentation and release of these amazing fish! Chris was so incredibly knowledgeable and willing to share his in-depth knowledge on everything related to the river, the various types of fish, and ongoing data collection related to the sturgeon population- as well as of course supporting novice anglers. He truly is an expert guide, and had so much to share from his extensive experience.
My whole family came away feeling like we not only had an exciting and fun-filled morning (catching 10 sturgeon of various ages and sizes), but we all learned so much on this trip. Most notably, I have to share that my older kids were especially impressed at how patient and kind Chris was in keeping everything moving and positive, with 4 kids of different ages, abilities and attention spans (and patient during the intermittent periods of whining and/or fighting from the little ones!).
Prior to our trip I also had only positive experiences in our communication with Blue Water Rockies Sportfish Guiding, with all of my questions being answered in a timely, clear, and detailed manner. I would highly recommend River Sport Fishing to anyone looking for a guided trip.

Took a trip with Chris on the Frazer River BC out of Mission this week....what a blast! Chris is very friendly, Knowledgeable and accommodating. Our 8 hr journey went by quickly with good scenery, conversation, shared experiences and yes some BIG ones! My bud and I each had our limits tested many bites, a couple of smaller Sturgeon and one 6'er and one just under 7'. Different locations along the river aided our search the big one!
Chris is came highly recommended and did not disappoint.

Highly recommend Chris! Was a pleasure dealing with him from start to finish. Extremely knowledgeable and very personable, true class act with a true passion and understanding of the fishery. More the accommodating for a group of a 11. All of us caught fish and was able to check it off many of there bucket lists! Myself, I will be back again!
