We drove through here and it was stunning. The leaves were changing colour, so lots of yellow and orange, and it was a photographer’s dream!

Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable about the park and it's environment. We started out with a walk to Grizzle Creek. Along the way we learned about the various berries that the bears eat. We even sampled a few. Continuing on we viewed various places...More

Just returned from a three night backcountry hiking trip in Tombstone, so beautiful. Bring layers as it can get cold at this time of year and there are extreme temp differences due to sun, wind, rain, snow, etc.

Helpful staff to prepare you for a stay in the park. We just stopped in but were encouraged to go on a short trail that was delightfully interpreted with signs. If that "sampler" is anything like the park, it would be a great place to...More

....if you have a fear of getting attacked by bears, you might not enjoy it so much. Luckily we didn't see any bears but I was a bit scared most of the time.

Most car rental places up there make you sign an agreement that you won't take the rental onto the Dempster highway because it's so hard on vehicles. If you're going to risk it, be sure you have a spare tire with you and... More
