Great location- walking distance to the lake, 2 rooms plus extra room with glass door (?), with basic and working kitchen appliances which is great plus some ingredients including coffee and creamer. Great wifi connection. And yes they are kind enough to give us a couple of hour extension to stay for late check out. Appreciate it.
Things to work on to make the place even better:
1. Make the room a bit cleaner, we need to sweep the floor to clear off
2. To check simple items/equipment to secure its working, some items are broken like towel holder, leaking washroom pipe (master’s) and heater in the living room isn’t working.
3. Access to main door is a bit tricky, you need to have a lot of patience when calling the Receptionist / Hotel staff which is working remotely as they no longer have an on-site front desk/office based staff. It took us sometime to enter the facility as the number provided is always busy.
Overall it’s good but they can do better.

My son (16) and nephew (10) spent the afternoon on the inflatables and the bumper boats. It was a first time experience for both of them. I recommend getting the package - this gives you 2 hours on the inflatables, bumper boats for 30 minutes, wet suit rental and the gripper socks. This package is cheaper than getting things separately. The kids went out on a Thursday afternoon and used up all the time and had a blast.
Like many reviewers said the lake water is cold even on a hot summer day. My son said that the wet suit kept them warm and also the gripper socks made it much easier to climb up the inflatables. He saw many struggle in bare feet.
Check in for us was not much of a wait ... you have to purchase your "ticket" online. When you get there you have to fill out a waiver form and hand it in. There is a little bit of a wait after getting your life jacket but not anything that my kids complained about. The staff when we were there were super. We will definitely come back again next summer.

Excellent fun filled day. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is
1) check-in process took awhile even though I booked and paid in advance (Almost 30min)
2) Many of the lockers do not work, took me 4 lockers to find one that works
3) Time slots are 2 hours, I think a little longer would be better, given some of the more popular things at the waterpark you have to wait in line for
All in all, we had a great time and will do it again next yr

Pros: 1) Plenty of free city parking if you are willing to walk 4 blocks. 2) Located in a great little resort town that had a great ice cream shop. 3) Postcard-like natural setting 4) Lifeguards on duty
Cons: 1) Be prepared the water is cold - glacier water. I would not go if it is not sunny and hot. They give you a wet suit but that first plunge is a shocker unless you are 13 years old. They seem to be immune to the cold. I am 55 years old so my heart almost stopped. 2) You cannot experience the hot springs unless you are staying at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort. There should be a public pool like Banff. 3) Not suitable for very small children

The best thing for water part just was bumper boat. The worst thing was lack of parking and during 2 hours staying there, I received 50 dollars fine! I never recommend there to anyone and I never comeback to this water Park again!

They need to be more accommodating to people that pre pay… they already have the money… why not try to reschedule or transfer the money to another activity if unforeseen circumstances happen. Bad customer service overall.

Hi, we will like to visit this place, but we are coming from Toronto so any hotel is close to this park?
We are planning to visit Harrison Springs this July but having not been there before, I wondered if the water park is close enough to the public beach for us to allow our kids (both over 10 years old) to use the inflatable water park without my husband and I needing to pay an admission as we have no intention of using the facility but would like the reassurance of being able to spot them if they need us? Thanks!

Q. CAN WE DROP OFF OUR KIDS BY THEMSELVES?
A. If your children are responsible they can be dropped off and left at the park providing they are 10 years of age or older, have the ability to take care of themselves and able to contact you after their day at the park.

We had our dogs on leash with us, but only on the docks and park areas around the beach (not on the floating play structures etc.) and found that dogs were received well in the area. There is an area that seems to unofficially allow dogs off leash (Rundall park?) at the opposite end of the beach area. It is not a far walk at all, and although you can see the water play area, it is not a place you can view the water sports activities from. We took our dogs off leash and threw the ball in the water for them to cool off. The beach sloped nicely into the water and our puppy did his first swim on his own there fetching his ball. There is a little ice cream place there that helped cool us off too.
Along the cute waterfront street there are little shops and outdoor places to get a bite to eat which makes it easy with the dogs. Hope this helps.
