This year with Covid, you need to book in advance through their website as they offer three 2 hour sessions in a day. But in August, if the weather is good they seem to book up quick. The max on the wibit is 100 people. Given its size we did not feel crowded but you do need to be conscious of your spacing between people.

You should also get their early— like 40 min before your time because you need to sign in and fill out the waivers and then line up on the beach to be taken out to the wibit. They start taking people out to the wibit about 20 minutes before the scheduled time in order to get everyone on the wibit by the start time. We got the first raft out to the wibit, so we ended up with about 2 hours and 20 min on the wibit which was great.

Sunscreen is a necessity. Also, if you want to have good slides then make sure you get wet in the lake before you slide. We found that we had to re-wet ourselves in the lake every 2 slides done so that we would go fast down the slides. Just a quick dip in the cold lake works to get you wet. Don’t try and slide with a dry suit — it doesn’t work.

Also when you are sliding watch out for the joints between the bottom of the slide and the next pads, they can be a bit bumpy.

The only negative is the cost is a bit high for a family to go,...maybe a family rate would be good.

Also if you are keen to jump on the big inflatable pillow “the blob”, make sure you do them when you can. If it gets too windy, they will close the blob. That happened to us about 1/2 way through the session, but we had done our share of jumps already.

Thanks for visiting our waterpark. Correction on the wibit, as it it is not. As our park is custom, as that is why it so much bigger and better than any other wibit style park. Glad you had a great time and hope to see you in the future.

My son (16) and nephew (10) spent the afternoon on the inflatables and the bumper boats. It was a first time experience for both of them. I recommend getting the package - this gives you 2 hours on the inflatables, bumper boats for 30 minutes, wet suit rental and the gripper socks. This package is cheaper than getting things separately. The kids went out on a Thursday afternoon and used up all the time and had a blast.

Like many reviewers said the lake water is cold even on a hot summer day. My son said that the wet suit kept them warm and also the gripper socks made it much easier to climb up the inflatables. He saw many struggle in bare feet.

Check in for us was not much of a wait ... you have to purchase your "ticket" online. When you get there you have to fill out a waiver form and hand it in. There is a little bit of a wait after getting your life jacket but not anything that my kids complained about. The staff when we were there were super. We will definitely come back again next summer.

I wasn’t sure if this would be a good fit for my petite 7 & 9 yr old daughters, but we had a great time! They went from cautious climbing over low obstacles to rope swing jumps into the lake (from lower platforms) and bum drop bounces down steeper slides in under an hour. It’s definitely got more for older kids and teens, but we managed to keep ourselves busy for a solid 2 hours, and probably would have stayed longer.

I really liked the 2-hr booking slots as it wasn’t crowded, even on the hottest day of the year. Staff were friendly and, despite the heat and being in the last slot of the day, patiently answered all my questions, getting the little ones quickly into wet suits and getting them soaked down.

I recommend bringing a twoonie for the lockers, sun hats that secure for little ones, and wet suits for both comfort and fun. You have to work at getting the slides wet but they are great fun once you do, I also highly recommend taking your littles into the hamster ball.

We overall enjoyed the waterpark and experience but some big drawback was the park not disclosing that children 8 and 12 still need an adults supervision ***in the watepark itself** and the adult will need to pay FULL price just to stand on the waterpark platform and watch. You cannot wait on dock or beach. Last year we went with 3 kids ages 10, 12 & 14 and this was not the case i was able be on the dock watching. so I was quite upset having to pay $40 unexpected. This is not stated on the website CLEARLY. My other complaint is lockers are one-time use only so if you lock it you cannot get things in & out withiut paying AGAIN during your time there which is crazy with young kids as we all know how they need/ forget things. And the lockers are $2 each for small "half" size which is nuts we needed 2 lockers for family of 3. I don't think it's right they use the lockers as money making machines, 25 cent per use would be more reasonable. Otherwise clean and well kept, covid precautions taking very seriously here too.

Hey In regards to the adult supervision, our policies have not changed from this year to last. So the year previous, we must of made mistake letting the 6-9 on the waterpark in the 2019 year. It is listed in numerous places on the website and booking calendar on your way out in the check out. For the 2020 season we are trying to mitigate traffic from our facility. In our water park verbiage we ask patrons to leave there belonging in there car or hotel room. We are doing pick up and drop off from the beach for the 2020 season. When customers leave belongs in the lockers they have to re enter our small dock facility. With social distancing in place this year we are trying to mitigate this issue. This is why we have increased the locker to discourage people leaving there belonging on your facility. Thanks again for visiting.

Headed to Harrison waterfront with my son and his bestie. Booking was for 4 pm but was called the day before to explain that thunderstorms were expected so could we come earlier. Lady on the phone was lovely and accommodating. Liability waiver sign up was a bit of a confusing time but was finished easily. Some staff seemed more interested in chatting than actually helping getting wet suits fitted properly. I had two issues. #1 there was no place for parents to sit and wait for their kids. #2 participants were ferried back to either the beach or the dock, with no notice about which it would be. It would have been way easier to drop off at the same point every time! I walked back and forth from the beach to the dock at least 4 times with towels and shoes. The boys had a great time! I'm glad I rented the wet suits as it was not a warm day and the lake water is COLD! The boys were on the first shuttle out and the last shuttle in, they had a blast!

Hi, Thank you for your feedback and visiting Harrison Watersports, it is much appreciated. I do recall this day. We had to change the time slot, as unfortunately the weather can be unpredictable, and we did this for the safety of our customers and staff. Thank you for being so patient and accommodating to our changes. Due to covid, we have had to change our processes for pick up/drop offs for our shuttle for the waterpark, as well as where patrons can sit and view the park, in order to control the number of customers that are on the dock at one time (social distancing). We apologize if this wasn't directed clearly to you and your party, and will continue to make sure that our staff remain consistent and clear with their directions on where customers need to be and at what time.

This was a great day! The staff was friendly. We knew that there were rules for booking (ie no refunds) and we were so happy that the day was super nice. The BBQ is a bit small and not super powerful but it did the job. I would suggest something simple as in hot dogs but we made it work with our kabobs. We rented the BBQ boat for 4.5 hours, I would definitely suggest nothing less than 3 hours.
The only negative thing that I can think of is that after about 3 hours the seats on the boat were very uncomfortable. It would be nice to have cushions.
The blue tooth system worked well so it was great to have our own tunes.

BE AWARE! The lake looks beautiful but is quite cold. Only go in for a minute or 2 or you could end up a statistic....

Glad you had a great time. We did have cushions, but due to covid we had to remove them for the 2020 season. Hope see you in the future!

We have yet to go to the water park so I do not know how much fun it is, but be warned that all sales are final. My wife had to go in for surgery this week so we tried to get a refund and I was told all sales are final. I asked how in the age of COVID-19 they have such a policy, if you don't offer refunds people will come even if they are sick. The attendant on the phone did not seem to care, and said that is the way it is. This is not very socially responsible.

We will be using the tickets we bought as I am not throwing away $200 and hopefully we are not exposed to COVID-19 at this facility due to this policy.

When you purchase your activities online on our website it clearly states before purchase that the activity is non-refundable and non-transferable before accepting payment. You can also purchase your activity at the marina, but at times our activities can often sell out and are not available for walk down traffic. We hold that spot for you so others will miss out as we only have so many spots we can sell due to covid. The person you may have talked to was most likely our booking center. They strictly can only do booking nothing further, and follow the guild line set out by our company. Please email hwsports@shaw.ca if you have any other concerns and we can sort something out.

We were a group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids, ages 7-14) and we all had a great time! The weather was beautiful so that helped, a bit windy so they had to limit use of the launch pad/slide. Best advise was to come early to get the waiver and stamp well ahead of our time slot so when it was our time, we just walked right in, got our life jackets and lined up vs lining up to get the waiver forms signed. We had the 130 slot so we went to sign our waivers and get stamps around 1145, no line; came back at 110pm and long line to sign waivers but we walked right in. And some reviews mentioned the water on the slides from the staff —— on the shuttle tube going there, staff made it very clear that if you don’t get wet, you will not slide well so on each person to get wet themselves. If you’re not wet, you won’t slide!

2 hours was a perfect time slot, especially in hot weather. I wasn’t sure what to expect but we all had so much fun! Just a different experience than just regular waterslides or water park.

The location was perfect too. We set up at the lake/beach area first, did the waterpark, and stayed still at the water. It’s right beside where you have the lake/beach area so don’t have to drive or walk far - literally 1-2 min walk.

Locker size is great too for $2.00, fits your items.
We booked a week in advanced to make sure we could all go.

Definitely recommend it!!!!

We rented the BBQ boat for 2.5 hours. We were hoping to participate in another activity so we showed up early and asked to move up our reservation by a few hours. They were extremely accommodating and we were able to achieve this. Unfortunately within 10 minutes of departing the dock our boat motor was rendered nonfunctional. We were able to easily reach out for help with the boat's radio which was explained during the safety instructions. We were quickly rescued, towed back to the dock and transferred to a replacement. Once out on the water we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We used the very well maintained BBQ on board. There was just enough room for six adults and our coolers etc. This was an enjoyable unique activity that we all throughly enjoyed. However the lake water could have been a little warmer!!

Thank you for your kind feedback. I apologize for the inconvenience of the motor, but glad that we were able to accommodate you all quickly to another one. We are happy that you were all able to enjoy your time once back on the water.

The staff at the water park are ABSOLUTELY Amazing all extremely helpful. The only thing I would say was negative was your booking center needs to be more educated on how the system works. I was going to be a few minutes late for my 4pm booked time so I called to make sure we would be able to get on even if we were a bit late ( I have been on this water park before and know there is a constant boat back and forth) and was told that no we would miss the boat and be unable to get on, we decided to try anyway cause it was my son's 13th birthday and I didn't want to let him down. We showed up and they said they absolutely would be able to get us on and they have a boat that goes back and forth often throughout the 2 hours and we're shock that we were told we wouldn't be able to get on. This experience other then that was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone and everyone ( I already have to anyone that will listen lol) Thank you for the great experience and great team you have on the beach

Thank you for your great feedback Melissa, it is much appreciated. We apologize for the incorrect information you received from the call centre. We will make sure we address this with them, so this will not happen in the future. I am glad that you were all able to enjoy your time on the waterpark for your son's birthday! Thank you for your continuous business, and we look forward to seeing you all in future seasons.
