The provincial park at Lac le Jeune is a great place to spend the day, the beach is mostly grass there are picnic table, wash rooms, parking is free , boat launch is good. Nice setting and worth checking out. Be cool have fun.

beautiful lake and relaxing. nice boat launch. grassy area and perfect for a picnic or day stay. dogs are welcome too on leash. nice to dip in the lake or walk out onto the dock

Very nice place for one or two nights stay over, just to get down in gear and relax, if you're on a road trip across country.

Lac la Jeune, a place to enjoy quiet time , a scenic lake, fishing. Located about 30 drive from Kamloops you travel through farmland areas. Swimming and picnic areas too Enjoy!

This lovely place is a great setting for business retreats, skiing getaways in the winter, camping in summer and nice for meeting place for all types of events. They have a lodge there with all the amenities.

I frequent this park for camping and day trips in the summer. It's close to home, has washroom facilities and picnic tables in the day use area. Great for families. Small lake with NO large power boats to ruin the quiet atmosphere. Great for kayaking...More

What a great spot to take the kids. Swimming and great beach and picnic area also fishing off the very long dock I will definitely take the family there again

Good hiking/walking around the lake. Trail was washed out so had to turn back, would have been nice if there was notification at the beginning of the trail.

The smoke has also improved over the last 2 days... but that can change with wind direction.

I know in Kamloops which is close by there is not an over abundance of them in July so I don't think it should be a problem.

It is open until Sep 26. I assume it's not reservable after Sep 5 because it isn't as busy as peak summer season. School is back in and weather may not be as good. I suspect that you'd be okay. I can recommend Shuswap... More
