Whether you come for the diverse ski terrain or for the variety of summer...

Whether you come for the diverse ski terrain or for the variety of summer activities, Sun Peaks is a haven for recreational fun in a three-mountain alpine area. Located in the Interior of British Columbia, Sun Peaks boasts Canada’s second largest ski area with 4,270 acres of terrain. With 6 meters of light, dry snow falling annually and over 2,000 hours of sun each year, guests enjoy spectacular winter conditions for downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing. Off the slopes, more winter adventure awaits with dog-sledding tours, snowmobile and snowshoe tours, horse-drawn carriage rides and more. Summer at Sun Peaks offers just as much recreational fun. Sun Peaks is home to BC’s highest elevation golf course. Guests can explore the alpine with lift-access hiking and world-class mountain biking trails, with opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, Segway tours and horseback riding. Sun Peaks’ vibrant European-style village is nestled at the base of Tod Mountain, Sundance and Mt. Morrisey. The village offers a wide selection of accommodations, restaurants and shopping boutiques.

Well, what not too much to say other than this trip sucked the big one. Got to see my kids hugely dissappointed over and over again each day and having to explain why people are riding the lifts to go ski, but we can't. Week before the opening day the resort cancels opening day. They can't control the snow, so... More

Where in North America can you ski and play golf at the same place. Their heated outdoor pool, great for the whole family, It's own village where you can stay and eat at different places. Great for snowmobiling or horse riding, play golf on beautiful golf course, surrounded by wild animals and all kinds of trails. Watch the deer walk... More

Our son-in-law's family has had a cabin at Sun Peaks from when he was 3 years old and he taught our daughter to ski there. Three mountains with lifts and all levels of skiing. Incredible views. So well maintained! Lots of great hotels (close enough to ski in and out), unique shops, restaurants. Very family friendly. The village center looks... More

We rented a chalet privately. The little town of Sun Peaks is charming. The sellers/vendors in town are so friendly and the goods they sell are unique.

Our third visit to the Sun Peaks Winter Wine Festival. Stayed at Cahilty Lodge. Great hotel and wonderful wine tasting venues. A fun evening. Weather was beautiful. A winter Wonderland. The village was all lit up. Great entertainment. Would recommend this to anyone! Great skiing too by the way. Got 2017 booked already.

Just out of town you will find beauty with spectacular views in the summer from hiking trails and biking trails. Enjoy natures beauty on the chair lift or just explore the village. There are quaint shops to wander in and out off. The music festivals in the summer are enjoyed by many. The village comes alive as many enjoy the... More

It seems kind of strange that a desert would also be home to a top rated ski resort but that's what Sun Peaks is. There is year round activity, something for everyone no matter age or ability. Whether you are just enjoying the scenery or a meal, once you've been to Sun Peaks you will return again.

Best ski hill around... really great snow and lots of it. Family oriented, lots of places to eat and lots of runs to ski. What more could a person ask for?
