As a group of 4 we booked Bare Wine Tours because of its reasonable cost, option to personalize and because of the fantastic reviews. They did not disappoint. Ryan picked us up promptly for our full day of touring from our condo and we headed to West Kelowna to begin our day. The wineries speak for themselves - but what made this tour even more memorable was Ryan, without a doubt. His stories and knowledge of the area coupled with his mind blowing magic made the day such an incredible experience. He never rushed us (despite us being on a bit of a schedule), laughed at our jokes and seems to truly love his job.
Our itinerary included Mission Hill, Quails Gate, Frind, Hatch, Mt. Boucherie (where we also had lunch) and the Distillery. But honestly if a ‘Take us where Ryan suggests’ was a tour option next time, we’d definitely sign up! His insight, suggestions for other places to explore, and his kind and gracious personality is a definite asset to Bare Wine Tours.

Merlin our amazing guide picked up myself, my husband and our best friend for a Naramata wine tour; he was right on schedule, explained how our day was laid out and and proceeded to five wineries and a distillery in Naramata. As we were a little ahead of schedule at one point he even took us to an additional winery where we bought a bottle of wine and local cheese and sat outside and enjoyed a picnic. Merlin was informative, kept us on track without being pushy and is genuinely a lovely person who was so enjoyable to be around. Naomi and Cassandra, who I assume own Bare Wine Tours we’re beyond accommodating in getting us into the wineries we asked for and choosing other wineries based on our taste; they also changed lunch plans for us on short notice and during a pandemic when nothing is easy. We bought wine at each winery - not because we had to but because it was great at all the stops. If you have the chance and enjoy gin, the stop at Legends Distillery was also a great addition to our day. I’ve done wine tours in the Kelowna area before but I will be using Bare Wine Tours in the future and asking for Merlin. As a side note, they were one of the only tours willing to accommodate our small group of three - so thank you for that!

I will never book anywhere else. From the set up, the emailing back and forth (at any hour of the day they got back to me- honestly amazing) to accommodating the uncertainty of the pandemic and lastly the requests of wineries we wanted on the list, Bare was amazing. We even added a guest the night before a 9:40 am pick up who needed us to swing by her house- they didn’t blink an eye.
Then we met Ryan. He was kind, fun, made sure we had water, and the music we needed and told stories I’ve never heard even though many of us have been on many a tour in the Okanagan. THEN HE WAS A MAGICIAN! The entertainment level was over the top. We were doing tricks with family across the country on FaceTime, unbelievable (the true definition of the word) card work. Even energy work where he worked with such a close group of women on a stagette. This was the most spectacular trip that pretty much any of us have been on. And Bare: never lose Ryan.
I wish I was looking forward to stepping on your bus again tomorrow. Thank you SO much for your hospitality!!

In a Post-COVID world it would have been understandable if the level of service had dropped a little. That wasn't the case with Bare Wine Tours. Our wonderful tour guide Darryl was an encyclopedia of wine knowledge with extensive experience visiting wineries throughout the Okanangan Valley. He had been on these trips many times but hadn't lost any of his enthusiasm. We visited six wineries on our full-day excursion with a lunch at Mt. Boucherie. The wineries were all excellent choices and we ended up spending a lot of money on wine.

We went on a 9 person wine tour and our tour guide was Merlin. He was absolutely amazing and made our trip so enjoyable. He allowed us to play our own music, brought us water, snacks and even carried out all the wine we bought along the way! He was so accommodating and even took pictures of us (which were endless) would 100% recommend. We did East Kelowna and all winery’s were great.

This was the first wine tour for my husband and I. It was a fantastic experience made all the more memorable thanks to Ryan. His customer service was exceptional with the added benefit of out of this world magic tricks which blew everyone's minds! Ryan is Las Vegas level entertainment and he absolutely made this a day that will stay in our memories. We highly recommend Bare Wine tours and if you can, request Ryan as your tour guide he will make your day amazing.

Our group of friends had the most incredible day doing the quadruple threat tour. RYAN made this adventure absolutely amazing and hands down is the best tour guide I've ever had. He had our entire group mesmerized with his mind blowing tricks not to mention his outgoing personality. If you are thinking of doing any of the Bare Wine tours, please ask for Ryan, you will NOT be disappointed in the tour or your guide.

My girl friends and I first toured with Bare Wine Tours in August 2020. It was such an amazing trip! We did the Summerland tour and it was nothing but amazing. Merlin was our tour guide and he was exceptional! No one has ever made our wine tour experience more fun than him. He was very welcoming, informative, and didn’t mind when we blasted some hits from the early 2000’s. We requested Merlin for our trip this year and were not surprised that he remembered us. So happy to have him as our tour guide and can’t wait for next year to see him, as well as the summerland wineries again!! Thank you Merlin!

All five Wineries we attended were stunning and the wine was delicious!
However, what made this wine tour so special was our tour guide Merlin from Bare Wine Tours. He cared so much about us having the best experience possible. He made sure we saw the best parts of all the wineries and that our group was happy and comfortable the entire time! I would 100% rebook this tour and ensure Merlin was our tour guide again!

We enjoyed a fabulous wine tour experience with this company. From beginning to end the service was excellent. They dealt with the challenging times of COVID very professionally and we always felt safe, well informed, and cared for. I highly recommend their services. Make sure you stop at the Hatch and Black Swift winery's. We had so much fun at them and the others!

Truly thank you for your kind words and your feed back. I agree, hatch and Black Swift are fabulous wineries to visit. We often include these locations on our West Kelowna option. Good morning. Absolutely you can bring your baby on our wine Tours. It is more common than most people think and we are always happy to accommodate guests and their different needs. We leave extra time at pickup to safely install your care seat.
