Located just off Westbridge Rd. in Kelowna is a canyon-top trail that goes right by Crawford falls (an easy hike of only about 20 minutes from the parking area). You can hear the falls on your right as you pass by and see it from the bank above the creek, but a steep trail with a rope pull is the only way to get down to the falls, so not really friendly for those with mobility challenges. We wanted something to do between activities and stopped here for a hike. Street parking can be a bit tricky, but it was a great use of the time. Fairly steep up and down but only about 15 - 20 minutes of hiking (one way) to get to the beautiful falls.

While Canyon Falls Park is open, the Crawford Falls Trail down to the falls is closed due to slope instability. The upper trail is still open off of Canyon Falls Ct.

This is for sure a really neat place to go to and I would like to also mention the review by travelledbones_com who went there previously was excellent and why we decided to go. Unfortunately, the trail going down to the first waterfall was closed. People were going down anyways even though there was a warning! Anyhow, great place to go to so close to town and many trails easy enough! I was disappointed that we could not go down to the first waterfall, hopefully it will be fixed and it would have been great if there was a place to go online to find out if places like this are closed? …
