We were so excited to bring our 15 month old son here for the day and decided to come in the afternoon, after his nap. Maybe that was our mistake, as it was so hot outside, we were afraid he was going to get heat stroke. It was about 36° out and a member of staff told us that the sheep had to be moved to a cooler place out of the sun. To be honest, we couldn't believe that any of the animals were left out in the sun. They should definitely invest in more types of shade for these animals.
They have a bunch of games and things you can do while there, but after 10 minutes we basically just ran through the place quickly to get out of there. Our sons face was bright pink by the time we left and he was burning up. Such a shame as he really really loved feeding the goats and sheep. We would have stayed longer if it weren't for the heat.
The ducks have a fan blowing on them and the bunnies had a little AC unit in their pen, but we felt bad for those sheep and goats...and the peacocks. We didn't even go near the chickens. They were right in the middle of yard in the blistering sun.
The price is very reasonable to enter and children under 3 are free. We felt strange just opening cages and going in on our own. We figured there would have been staff or volunteers at every station to make sure you were being safe and not letting animals out. There seemed to be some kids helping out with the goats, and there was a nice girl who let us into the duck cage and told us not to touch the ducks.🙈
Overall, it's a cute place for kids. We definitely picked the wrong time of day. Try to come at 10 am when they open before it gets too warm.
The Farmers Market attached was extremely expensive and we found that the ice cream was just ok. Get a cone-dont bother with a bowl as the spoon they give you to eat it with is a Gelato spoon and it will take you all day to finish your ice cream, or the sun will melt it first.

My daughter was very excited to visit this petting zoo so we decided to visit it. But it was very hot day and it was difficult to enjoy the farm. So make sure you come on a cool day. Entry tickets are quite reasonable at $8 per person. All the animal enclosures were free to walk in. Only the duck enclosure had a staff who helped us to interact with the ducks but mostly we were left on our own.
It is a great place for young kids. We didn’t spend much time in the attached farmer’s market and didn’t buy anything from it so can’t comment on the quality of the stuff.

Don O Ray Farm is a wonderful place to take your children and spend a happy few hours. The staff are so friendly and it has a lovely informal, family feel to it. It's not too big or overwhelming, so children feel very safe there. Our kids love feeding the goats and petting the bunnies, and it's just a great way of helping children enjoy nature and the outdoors, as well as getting used to being close to animals. Plus, the free airbrush goes down a treat every time! We have a season pass and go every few weeks, and our children still love it!

Small, clean little petting farm, best for for toddler aged to spend about an hour in. We took our tweens and were there only 20 min as it’s not a very big place, only about half a dozen pens and a little maze. Bring your own masks to go inside the animal pen or buy a mask for $2 at entry. They ask that you wear a mask when in with the animals and you may pet but not hold or pick up. Not many animals or the ability to interact with them as the kids had hoped for.

We took a group of 5 and 6 year old Girl Guides here and they had a blast. We had a lovely picnic table with umbrella. The kids loved all the animals, especially getting to hand feed them - the ducks were their favourite. The maze was lots of fun with great little "surprises" around all the corners. A bonus was the beautiful air brush tattoos - the kids were so excited to show them off to their parents. And the staff were wonderful - very friendly, knowledgeable about the animals, and super accommodating for our group. It is very clean and it is obvious that the animals are loved and very well treated. We are planning our next visit already.

My daughter and I spent over two hours at the Farm Adventure without realizing it, she loved feeding the goats, pony, and watching the ducks swim.

The maze was difficult, but not so difficult that it was frustrating and it was an all around fun experience.

I would recommend the Farm Adventure to anyone who has young children or loves animals.

We found this gem during our last day in Kelowna. Our entire family had a blast. Very friendly staff. A guy took his time to explain the ducks to us and let us feed and pet them and watch them go down the slide. My daughter loved petting the rabbits and my son enjoyed feeding the goats. They also got their very first airbrush tattoos there and the lady did an amazing job. Kids liked it so much we ended up staying there longer than we planned. We will definitely go back there every time we come to Kelowna.

From the moment you get there to the moment you leave .. the atmosphere is friendly and laid back. We spent 2 hours there today just my 5 year old and I and she wanted to stay longer. I personally LOVE the ducks and the Goats.. ok and the bunnies.. super friendly people who could use our support as locals this summer, they even give FREE tattoos to the kiddos .. worth every cent and will be getting a seasons pass to not only help support locals, though it’s a perfect spot to read a book or eat an ice cream while the children play.

We held our Church's Fall Family Festival here and it was outstanding!!! The staff was incredible, the venue was beautiful, and the families all had so much fun! We were allowed to bring out own BBQ, food, face painter, and so much more! The kids loved the hedge maze and pulling each other around on the rickshaws! The airbrush tattoos were also a huge hit! Would definitely recommend... 10/10 all around! :-)

We went as a family with a larger friend group and were treated so warmly. The kids were enthralled by all the animals, and there was ample opportunity to interact with /pet / feed the animals. A fun maze, kinda spooky for Halloween. And the little food market right next door but on the same premises is a must see! Lots of good food!
