I visited on my own and would likely not recommend taking children unless they are older and or very interested in art. The staff was very friendly and informative. I thought it worth the $5 fee to view some of my favorite Canadian artists though...More

I enjoyed the 'Legacy of Canadian Art' exhibit here. Very lovely. There's also a 'games and art' exhibit that is interesting. I happened to be there on a Thursday and learned that 'Thursdays are free.' There is paid parking just across the street.

The Kelowna Art Gallery is rather small - but a gem nonetheless. We visited in July and got to see a very comprehensive, well made overview of Canadian Art over 150 years and enjoyed ourselves very much. Highly recommended !

I enjoy taking my four year old on Sundays to their family art class. It's inexpensive and fun to get creative as they always have a new activity.

Make sure you go on a Thursday as there is no admission charge. It is a small museum that had three local exhibits. Popular with kids with activities.

To be fair, this is the first time visiting the KAG. While regular admission is only $5 for an adult, I am glad that I arrived on a Thursday, when the admission fee is waived. There were a couple of exhibits that were a tad...More
