I have played here previously. The course is usually in great shape. However, the greens are what I would consider unreasonably diabolical (which leads to slow play - which I have experienced every time I play here). On this particular visit, we were all struggling with golf cart gps systems that were locking up the carts, showing that we were in restricted areas, when in fact, we were on the paved cart paths. Adding to this frustration, was that we were a three-some and a two some - and starting about the 6th hole, as we approached the next tee box and the group in front of us hadn't been able to tee off ... so the entire course was backed up. We decided to play as 5, and continued to experience the significant delays at each tee box. At the 15th tee box, we were approached by a course marshal, who told us in a not so polite manner, that we would have to split back into a three-some and a two-some. We politely explained that we were experiencing significant delays on every tee box and that we would not be holding anyone up by playing the remaining 4 holes as five. We also expressed our frustration with the carts (I had to drive in reverse from one green to the next tee box when it thought I was in a restricted area, but was actually on the cart path) ... to which the marshal told me the carts "weren't their responsibility"! First of all, they rented the carts to us, so it is most certainly their responsibility. Secondly, there was apparently a solar storm that was "messing" up the gps on the carts ... I can understand that - but, can the proshop not "turn that functionality off" so that the carts would work? Up to the time we were approached by the marshal, we were "accepting" of the slow play and the cart issue - but due to the attitude we received on the 15th tee box, and the frustration and disappointment we felt at that time, we decided to pack it in. I had to walk from half way down 16 as my cart locked again and I could get it to go. We went straight to the proshop to lodge our complaint about the whole day ... they were polite, but did tell us "we picked a bad day to golf as there is a solar storm going on" (once again, it seems that we were the issue in their minds). There was no offer of compensation, we were going to have dinner there, but obviously went into Kelowna instead. So, $186 each for one of the worst golf days I have experienced (same for the other 4 friends) - and due to the way it was handled by the staff - all 5 of us agreed it will be the last time we golf Tower Ranch. (ps - we are all long time golfers, and have been coming to the Okanagan area for over 30 years with a golf group - we had played 2 days at Predator Ridge and one day at The Rise prior to this day at Tower - and had 3 great experiences leading up to this mess).

Played the course in early August and found one of the toughest courses I have ever played. Lots of elevation changes, few flat lies in the fairways, and, even at the senior tees, the course plays 6200+. May tough drives across gullies to fairly narrow landing areas. Few flat lies and missing the fairway means menacing side hills. Course has no trees and on a hot day, like I played, the heat can be oppressive.

Course was in great shape, greens were a little sandy, and the views were amazing, especially on the back 9. Pro shop staff was fine, but didn't make anyone feel special. Fantastic restaurant with great views from the deck.

I am a 16 hdcp and would not play this course again. It was fun, but between the difficulty and the heat, I wanted to enjoy my round and I didn't here.

Other then a couple holes that were a bit swampy, the course was in excellent shape. First time playing for me and the views were great. Staff were very friendly, course was a bit slow but not to bad. Carts were good, price point on the high side though. We had good weather and enjoyed our round.

I wished we had read the May 2022 review from skoalclasic earlier. We feel fortunate that our round took only 5 hr and 10 min. We did not see the marshals that don't care because we did not see any marshals today. The proshop blamed the pace of play on the difficulty of the course but that is a lame excuse. Perhaps they should make the rough less punitive and there would less time spent looking for balls. This course is easily playable in less than 4.5 hrs. We enjoy it but at over $150 per round this was not fun and our game suffered for it.

Visuals galore. The elevation changes are crazy! Really nice track though the greens will bedevil you. Couldn't get a proper read on more than half the holes! Checkin was smooth - with the pandemic its more DIY for bag drop etc. No delays from our tee time - we were never rushed. This is a cart only course with good reason - imagine a quarter mile walk up a hill between holes. If you were walking in the heat they've had in Kelowna you might not make it through (alive lol) Decent value too, especially for what you get.

Course was amazing! I read a lot of reviews that fairways were tight and you would lose a lot of balls but we felt there was tons of room to miss shots. Views were incredible and one of the best courses in Kelowna!

Beautiful, challenging, great scenery, and an overall fun course. My favourite in Kelowna. There’s lot of elevation change and tight holes with a lot of deep fescue. Bring lots of balls if you hit it crooked. A beer on the deck overlooking the entire valley after the round is a pure treat!
