The locals certainly embrace having this body of water to enjoy at their doorstep. Cruises, jet skis, fishing, skiing, a hive of summer activity

The best part of Kelowna. The rest of the town is a bit boring with no real architectural features. The walk back to our hotel was a bit risky with lots of homeless and addicts hanging around the streets. Be careful away from the lakeside.

The lake is very windy, but the water was warm. There are many families of beautiful nesting ducks in the sand. Seagulls cruising overhead. You can wade in the water to the sides of this beach, as its all sandy.

Great place to take the entire family for a swim in the clear blue waters of the Okanagan Lake. Even our dogs could join us fur a swim on the beach. It does not get better then that, highlight of our trip and it's free!
