Wonderful host who guided us through a wine tasting with good humour. We had a blast! We also learned a lot, not only about the Tantalus wines but also about the Okanagan wine industry.
And we have a great photo of us all with an amazing view of Kelowna.

A smaller winery than some of the others in the Okanagan therefore it does not entertain bus loads of tourist. Our host Frances was a delightful person, very knowledgeable & accommodating. We also spoke with the assistant wine maker gleaning a lot of information about wines and her experiences. We spent at least 2 hours there sampling from their small lot tasting menu. We would highly recommend their 2020 Old Vines Riesling which tasted like silk. It’s the best Riesling I’ve tasted thus far. Their 2021 Chardonnay was also delightful, it is so smooth & buttery.

Tantalus Vineyards is a must visit in the Okanagan. Their wines are good, especially the old vines Riesling. Recommend keeping it for 5 to 10 years if you really want to taste it at it's best.
The tasting experience is enhanced by a seated tasting (even if there are only 2 of you) and a beautiful view.
If possible get Guadalupe. I have experienced a large number of wine tastings. Guadalupe gave us the best experience to date.

We went for a tasting at Tantalus. The tasting experience was good. The gentleman was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the wines and bought 5 bottles but we were still charged $10 per person (there was 2 of us) for the tasting. We spent just over $200 on wine. The fee for the tasting should have been waived. We will not go to this winery again.

We had booked the VIP tasting outside but there no table available when we arrived for our appointment. Other than that, nice selection of reds, whites & rose. Our host was really knowledgable which makes a wine tasting much more interesting. Nice section of Pinot Noir, Riesling & Chard. Recommended.

Tantalus Vineyard was our favourite spot on two separate wine tours this past week. Michael hosted us and was very knowledgeable, entertaining and experienced on wine and the region.

This picturesque winery whose focus is producing quality Chardonnay’s and Pinot’s in a picturesque setting. The winery representatives are a very valuable, underrated and sometimes under appreciated asset who provide history, knowledge and enhance our enjoyment of the winery experience. Sophia combined all of these attributes and more in helping to create a wonderful time at Tantalus! Their wines are well made and have great value from the Bear Chardonnay($19.13) Chardonnay($27.83), which we purchased, the Maija Pinot Noir($21.74) Pinot Noir($30.44), which we purchased to the Blanc de Blanc Sparkling($27.83). A worthwhile visit while on the Lakeshore wine route in Kelowna! Highly Recommend!
