Pick up the brochure explaining the sister-city history, as well as a guide to some of the trees. A full-time gardener keeps this pruned and safe. Look for the fake bald eagle, which scares off herons that would eat little koi in the pond.

A lovely day spent downtown Kelowna and this was a surprise little gem we stumbled upon. Spent 3 hours just enjoying this tranquil little garden. It is not large, but we very much enjoyed our afternoon here.

It's just behind the city hall. A symbol of friendship with Kelowna's sister city, Kasugai in Japan. It's a small beautiful garden!!

Nice little place to walk through when you are near downtown. Tiny but pleasant to walk through. Koi fish and turtles.

Hidden behind City Hall this one would be easy to miss if you don’t go looking for it. A wonderfully peaceful retreat in manicured gardens - so tranquil and immaculately well tended. Definitely worth a visit and there is no charge to enter.

The beautiful authentic Japanese garden wasn't very tranquil while construction was happening next door. But it is now a great place to visit to enjoy the peaceful gardens and pond and trees. Right downtown behind city hall..free admission.

Meticulously maintained sister garden to a Japanese garden was dedicated years ago. Many interesting trees and a few Japanese style buildings. Big pond with Koi and turtles. Beautiful walkways. Must see if you love gardens. Free !

Free admission. What a beautiful garden in the city! Had dinner nearby with family and made a short walk to this garden. Well maintained and very relaxing. Loved those big carps in the pond. There is one geocache, too, if you are a geocacher.

The Grande Hotel along Water Street is likely the closest with a pool.
