Even our young (8 years old) grandson enjoyed the lavender and herb farm. The tour is extremely informative. Their shop is filled with wonderful (albeit pricey) items.

Sure it's a nice garden. Certainly this is not a farm. The admission was $9.00 each--up from the usual price because " the lavender is in bloom." Seriously? We went in and walked around the garden. It's very nice but hardly worth the hefty price especially after you drop $2.50 for a small glass of lemonade. In the end, I think it's a tourist trap. We live here so probably expected more. You may go here once but you won't bother going back. Fifteen sprigs of lavender (a lavender wand apparently) costs a mere $15.95 plus tax.....rip, rip, rip

A group of 4 of us arrived at the farm around 10am for the 10:15am tour. The tour itself was $15 per person; it came with a 45 minute tour and history of the farm, followed by a workshop at the end where we got to make our own lavender sachet to take home. Our guide, Hannah, was very knowledgeable and friendly with us. Because we got there for the earliest tour, we were the only ones taken out to the farm, which was nice because by the time the 11:15am tour rolled around, they had 20+ people. Tip: get there early to avoid the crowd for pictures!

Dear Jackson,
I'm so glad you had such a great experience on our morning guided tour, and I will pass your kind words along to Hannah! We always do our best to accommodate larger tours by splitting them into small groups, but how nice that you had a chance to experience the gardens all to yourselves!
Enjoy the rest of your summer!

We went to the lavender farm this morning. But, they refused us because they offer only tours in the morning and do not accept toddlers on tour. They said we could return at noon or later, but this is full sun (too hot for tots) and during typical nap time of toddlers! Basically hours are organized so that toddlers can't go. Very disappointing!!

Dear Julien,
As discussed in our previous conversations, our farm tries to direct visitors to the most suitable experience for them. We do not have a hard and fast rule against younger children being part of the guided tour, however as it is an hour long and quite academic, we find most families and children prefer our afternoon garden wander, taking in the maze and exploring the scavenger hunt at their own pace. We routinely welcome families to the farm and many of them still decide to go on the morning tour after we tell them about their options for visiting the gardens. We apologize that you felt you were refused admission, that would never be our intent and we will make every effort to ensure someone else doesn't have a similar experience. We hope you and your family come back another day and visit us.

I was completely disappointed with this tourist attraction. I was expecting that the place would be so fragrant and there would be a place full of lavender. But no, it was just a small garden which they charge 10 dollars per person, but you will just see different kinds of grass. They are also selling some products which does not smell like lavender. Totally disappointed. They should just let people go visit the garden for free of charge or maybe $5.00.. i think its false advertising.

As we are a working farm, we are working hand in hand with mother nature and we are right into our busy season of harvesting and distilling the last of our fresh lavender. At the farm we hope to provide education to our guests about we do, from growing, harvesting and distilling to hand producing the products that you find in our shop. We also hope to create a peaceful atmosphere for people as they wander through gardens and find a place to reflect and relax. The $10.00 entrance fee allows us to employ a full time gardener as well as a landscaping crew once a week.
We grow up to twenty different herbs in our gardens that we harvest to create products using these herbs, each with their own unique benefits, therefore some of our products do not have a distinct lavender scent. If you wish to see the lavender in full bloom we suggest visiting at the beginning of July however with this Spring being so warm we saw fresh blooms as early as the beginning of June.

Yes it is a lavender farm but the visiting experience is mostly wondering in their beautiful garden enjoying the flowers, aromas, and great views of the lake and valley.
This is an activity for some wonderful peaceful, calm time. It's not Disney nor an adventure park, so don't expect it to be what it isn't. What it is is great enough.

Visited with my mom and was a bit underwhelmed. It was disappointing to see you had to pay to tour the grounds and the products seemed a bit over priced. It’s a nice place to take photos, and the staff is very friendly and kind. Wouldn’t recommend brining kids along as they may be bored. Would be a nice addition to a wine tour stop, but probably not worth it to take a trip just for this.

we have visited in September. not the right season for the lavender farm visit. the only place where you can smell lavender, is in their beautiful shop selling their farm products.
it was still nice to walk thru the fields, enjoy the fresh air and nice gardens. but we shld for sure come back here in summer when the lavender blossom and the air is full of its wonderful smell.

Family of 4 ($30) with 5 and 8 year spent an hour and a half exploring the gardens. The kids were never bored as they had to keep a lookout for animal signs. The also enjoyed the maze and the wishing tree.

The gardens are in a very nice hilly setting. They also have lavender products for sale. A local artist has some of her grapevine weavings featured here.

Is there a fee to take some photos of friends on a dslr during wandering hours in the garden?
Written June 4, 2019
Hi Amy, our garden wander is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and you're welcome to take personal photos during that time. However, large photography equipment and photo shoots are not permitted as we find this detracts from the peaceful experience of our other visitors. Please feel free to send us an email if you'd like further clarification. Thanks very much!

At Late August and early September, are there still lavender farm to see ?
Written August 28, 2018
Hi Sally, our lavender has all been harvested, but late August/early September is a beautiful time for sunflowers, hydrangeas and ornamental grasses. We hope to see you at the farm!
Written August 29, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry Lekyshia, however we do not sell dill, and all of the herbs we do grow are dried and distilled for use in our products. Perhaps you could try a Farmer's Market in the spring?

Hi :) we are visiting our cousins right now in Kelowna, just wondering about to visit your farm
What about lavender, is there any left ?
Thanks!
Written August 27, 2017
You'd have to check with the place. I doubt lavender is still available. Too late in the season.
Written August 27, 2017
Good morning Jennifer,
As our farm is a food-processing facility, we are unable to welcome pets into the gift shop or gardens, however we do have a small outdoor shelter for dogs in our parking lot that is available for our visitors to use!
Sincerely,

Do you sell lavender by the bunch for people who want to decorate vases with it?
Written June 18, 2017
Yes we have dried lavender bunches in the shop, ready to go. We should also have a small number of fresh bundles in the shop by the end of this week! We are open from 10-5 daily and are happy to help you when you pop by!
Written June 19, 2017
Hi, I'd like to know when the lavender is in bloom?
Thanks
Written March 11, 2015
The lavender starts to bloom at the end of June, if you are looking to see the fields awash in purple, your best time to visit is during the first 3 weeks of July. Harvest is always weather dependent, but we generally begin picking around the first week of July.
Hope to see you at the farm this season!
