The family came to this beach because we had about an hour and a half to kill. There is paid parking right beside but you can also find some free parking across the street along some side streets. If you have lots of gear or small children I would recommend using the paid parking.
There are a lot of amenities close by like washrooms with separate change areas, restaurants, and ice cream across the street to name a few. There are also separate areas off the beach for volleyball and other activities, plenty of greenspace for picnics and such.
The beach itself is great with areas for sun and shade. There is also a small playground on the beach. There are 2 zip lines; one along the sand and one off the pier into the water. The water is very shallow and goes quite a ways. As a result, the waves created by boats passing doesn't effect as much so great for kids. There is also a shower area for body and feet which is great to wash off the sand.
Even though we were there for a short time we enjoyed our time there and liked all the amenities there.

Pretty park area. Water is very shallow so you can walk out super far. Nice sand area and grass park area to rest or play.

Beautiful stunning beach views! There’s night crew to sift and clean the beach sand. Very well maintained park when my family and I went in July 2021. Water level just reached thigh height so it’s good for people who are scared of water depth.

We visited here during our visit to Kelowna. Not too bad but the beach and area needs some attention as far as cleaning. There also doesn't appear to be enough park employees around. We saw several situation where security or park employees would have made our stay better. I.E. a group smoking dope, a group of 20 guys drinking alcohol etc... Not the best beach but decent other than needing more of an authority presence.

When you travel in the winter, beach isn't the best to try the water but it is quiet. Great views down the lake.

The city puts a lot of work into maintaining this beach, and it shows. This beach is worth the visit.

One of the premiere beaches in summer, this place is great in fall and winter too. If you are with the family the play structure won't be crowded and the kids can run and play to their hearts content. I love doing sunset pictures and just appreciating the sky and water through the mountains in the distance.

We always stay in lower Mission near this beach. Get a coffee and a bagel and walk/drive/bike over to this beach and enjoy the peacefulness and views at this beach in early morning before the crowds fill this place.

I think further back from the beach but I'm not totally sure. There was a large family there eating but I don't recall seeing a BBQ. Sorry
