Wine tours: We facilitate a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for people to learn about our valley...about our wines, our cuisine and the natural beauty of our landscape. We pick up and drop off at most hotels, motels, B & B's in Kelowna and area. Want a little more than a wine tour? We offer Adventure Tours; Choose Your Own Adventure Tours - a morning of activity, (such as: cycling at Myra Canyon, kayaking on Okanagan Lake, Ziplining in Oyama or Snowshoeing at Telemark- Crystal Mountain,) a lunch stop at a local winery then a relaxing afternoon on wine tour. A perfect combination! Our hope is that YOU will experience genuine hospitality and feel a sense of being grafted into the local community. Hometown hospitality, rooted in rich heritage; that's what Roots and Vines is all about.

Zip lining was awesome and our group enjoyed the guides and views were great. Wine tours were fantastic. We all had a great time. Our driver/tour guide was fantastic. Exceptionally knowledgeable about the wineries, which was great. He was funny and very kind! We would highly recommend Roots & Vines Tours!

We highly recommend Roots & Vines Tour Co.!!
We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our tour.
Micheal (our driver/tour guide) just clicked with us from the first moment he picked us up. He was fun and informative of the area, told us what we needed to know.
Terri (office booking guru) was patient with me while I was trying to plan our wine tour to the Okanagan Falls wineries. We were working around the problems of a rockslide, road closed, and food allergies. Just a few things Terri helped us out with.
We visited five wineries and stopped for lunch about the time that we needed to...if you know what I mean!! Lol!
We all had a fantastic time!!! Thanks you so much Terri and Michael for letting us have such an enjoyable day!!

Incredibly fun, interesting, and memorable! From the moment we all piled into Michael's van, we were greeted warmly and were magnificently well cared for. Michael went above and beyond, lifting spirits, sharing stories of historical interest, and geography, with humour and remarkably remembering all the names of our group as well as little details he learned about us.
While planning a family 50th wedding anniversary for mostly out-of-town guests, I am so delighted we booked a wine tour for guests arriving early. Little did I know it would be a highlight of the weekend and the ultimate way to begin festivities, setting the tone for a marvellous time with family and friends.
In the weeks leading up to our tour, we communicated often, and Terri at Roots and Vines worked hard to ensure all our group needs were met with kindness and efficiency.
All the wineries we visited on our tour received us eagerly and it was clear Michael had built strong and meaningful bonds with them. I couldn't help but notice his extra consideration and kindness to all those working at the wineries at every stop. I would not hesitate to recommend a tour with Roots and Vines. As a local resident who lives within walking distance of many of the wineries we visited, I gained a new appreciation for the amazing area I call home, all thanks to the day spent with Michael.
I am so grateful to have quite randomly crossed paths with you Michael- it was meant to be! THANK YOU for taking such care.

We took our first tour with Roots and Vines this week, and it won't be our last.
From the moment we were picked up, we felt completely looked after, and the communication was clear and thorough.
Mike was a wonderful driver and guide.
He was a wealth of knowledge, on matters from wine to geography and history of the area. He is a veteran of the hospitality industry and it shows, it was a pleasure to be with a seasoned guide. Everything was perfectly timed and felt effortless and seamless.
Although we could have driven ourselves to the five wineries we visited, we wouldn't have had such a truly immersive Okanagan experience without Mike.
He was friendly, considerate, knowledgeable, and truly made our day and made my birthday special.
We can't wait to come back to the Okanagan and take another tour. Could not recommend this company more!

Mike added warmth and humour to our beautiful tour through some of West Kelowna’s wineries. His knowledge and passion for the history, and practice of winemaking in the Okanagan perfectly supplemented the views and wines we enjoyed.

The whole experience with Mike was fantastic! He was able to arrange our itinerary in less than a days notice. We got to chose which wineries we wanted to go to and he made suggestions which were great choices. He is very knowledgeable and speaks passionately about the wine industry and its history in the Okanagan. Mike took very good care of us by making sure we had plenty of water to drink between tastings and took care of our purchases during the day. I highly recommend Roots and Vine Tour Co.

I worked with Terri to organize a wine tour that all 6 of my family would like, and she didn’t disappoint!
Mike picked us up in the morning and was full of energy, he made the day so fun and enjoyable. He has so much knowledge about the okanagan and the wineries. We had 2 people on the tour that don’t drink but said they had so much fun because Mike told many stories of the area.
I have been on approximately 7 wine tours in Kelowna, 3 of which have been with Roots and Vines. If I would have planned the other 4, they would have also been with Roots and Vines as well!
Mike picked us up in the morning and was full of energy, he made the day so fun and enjoyable. He has so much knowledge about the okanagan and the wineries. We had 2 people on the tour that don’t drink but said they had so much fun because Mike told many stories of the area.

Our group of 4 experienced the most highly informative, educational, fascinating, deep belly laughing and memorable wine tour with "Uncle Mike". The moment we were greeted, before even entering onto the bus, we knew we were in good hands and it was going to be an amazing day. From the bus ride to the wineries and everything in between, was never a dull moment. "Uncle Mike" had us either in full laughter, ooohing over the extensive history bestowed on us or ahhhhhing over all the wine knowledge presented. If you're a newbie or seasoned wine expert, you will not be disappointed. Over 300 wineries in Oliver/Osoyoos, we will be back year after year and have "Uncle Mike" lead the way for us. See you next year!
