We always stop here when we have time to kill before our BC Ferry reservations. Beautiful waterfront park to stretch your legs after a long drive. Lots of Arbutus trees and one of the last stands of Garry Oaks on the Island.

At Piper's there is everything you need for an urban escape. Beach, a view of the mainland coast mountains, a rocky peninsula to explore, and decent parking. It is a hidden secret. Safe for kids, it is out of zombie range so you don't have...More

Stumbled upon this park when we needed a little walk. Its a small seaside park with rugged terrain.......but definitely walkable. Very quiet....great for appreciating nature.

Found this place by chance and had a lovely walk round. Had to scramble over the rocks but well worth the views and fresh sea air. Tranquil and peaceful. Easy to find and park.

This is a beautiful park. The views are spectacular and the paths interesting. The dog loves it as much as we do. Lucky to be able to access this gorgeous area.

Beautiful walk along the ocean. Lovely beach, has grassy areas for picnics or kite flying. At the far end there is an area to climb if you are able. The views are fantastic.

The walk from the main parking lot is a well maintained, level, gravel path. If the tide is out you can also walk along the beach. At the end of the promenade there are a couple of rocky outcrops to climb if you are feeling...More

Yes, you can ride the in-coming tide at Piper's 's channel. It is an exhilarating experience akin to swimming down a horizontal waterfall. Be aware that you should be a strong swimmer or wear a life jacket. Be sure to go... More
