We took our grandchildren on the last ride of the season, Thanksgiving Monday. I have always loved steam trains and wanted to share the experience with them. It was all very professional and well done. I was a little disappointed in the scenery, which was...More

We rode out to naramata on the main road but decided to trust our gps to take us off the beaten track. We climbed up some major hills but ended up on the kvr. It was a downhill coast all the way back to penticton....More

We enjoyed car-free cycling along this trail beginning in mid-city Penticton, climbing slowly up to the Naramata bench and eventually to where the trail crosses Naramata Road. During our Okanagan week we also enjoyed cycling out and back the 16 km or so along Vernon's...More

I ride this trail daily for much of the year, but it is in poor condition in a number of places. The views are spectacular, but maintenance and repair are sadly lacking. Unfortunately, there are also safety problems because of the irresponsible behaviour of some...More

At an incline of around 2% a very achievable ride for most. Lovely to cycle through vineyards and to be off the main rode.

I love this ride, from just off Vancouver hill to the parking lot in Naramata, or keep going to the Mice trails. Good for walking, 5k to the McCulloch bridge and back. Lakeview and beautiful scenery, check out the clay cliff at the beginning, and...More

Take a bike ride on the old Kettle Valley Rail Trail from Penticton to Naramata...you will not be disappointed! It is about 38 KM round trip to the Little Tunnel...a very gentle uphill grade the whole way there and downhill all the way back. Great...More

We walked from Naramata to the tunnel. Slow slight but noticeable uphill grind. Some was wooded, a few spots with great views. The tunnel was nice and shaded. Lots of wild life along the way.
