Pretty darn nice

It's many years since I've been here and it is still pretty nice riding. The gun runs and the glades in the back bowl are some of my favourites. One high speed quad and one slow... read more

It's many years since I've been here and it is still pretty nice riding. The gun runs and the glades in the back bowl are some of my favourites. One high speed quad and one slow triple services the entire mountain. It's just enough to get a great day of riding in. Parking is really close to the base of... More

If you're looking for great terrain and challenging run with a family friendly atmosphere a virtually no line ups check out Apex. The interior snow is amazing to ski and the resort has been doing a good job of grooming and snow making. It is also becoming a world class location for ski competition and training. Compared to Whistler you'll... More

We came here with a family group of 13 people over 2015 Christmas holidays. It's a small mountain that will satisfy most families including advanced riders. I grew up in the 80's skiing in the Vancouver lower mainland (Cypress, Grouse, Blackcomb/Whistler, Manning, etc.). Since then, I've snowboarded in a few continents. By far, my a favourite is Niseko, Hokkaido, in... More

We took the family up to apex for the day. Everyone had a great time. The little ones were a bit hungry so went to the cafeteria for a bite. For 5.50 this is the grill cheese you get (it was cut in half to share). The kids didn't even touch it and I don't blame them. They should be... More

This is an outdoors mecca! I go there all the time. I am a great snowboarder and I teach all my nephews and nieces how to snowboard and they love me for it. Try it, ok? Cool place.

While visiting Penticton for a reunion, we decided to drive around and check out some of the attractions. We had time to kill so we decided to check out Apex. Though probably not the best time of year to go..... the view was incredible! Wonderful fresh air and vistas.... I want to come back and try the skiing!

Since we never get to see much snow in Lower Mainland, BC, Canada, decided to take kids on "snow" trip. Went to Apex Mountain Resort for three nights. No regrets. Tubing, outdoor skating, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, the kids did it all! The lessons are half the price they are at local mountains ($48 for 2 hr lesson including all equipment... More
