Wayne was a great driver/host with information about each of the 5 wineries we went to. We even had a tour of Naramata with a bit of history lesson as we were a little ahead of schedule. Lunch at Time Winery was good.
I would recommend this tour and have to say Wayne was a good sport when the singing in the van started!!!!

A good overview of the Naramata bench wineries.
Our guide Mark was very friendly and informative. Being picked up at our accommodations was really nice and he was even early.
Water is provided and Mark made sure to collect wine boxes to put our purchases in. The bus was comfortable.
Lunch at Time wineries in Penticton was great. The tasting there would have been better had the restaurant turned off the loud music which made it difficult to hear the sommelier who really knew his wine.
Bench 1775 was a disappointment, they were very short staffed and we got not much attention. That is not a fault of the tour of course but this would be a good one to miss in the future.
The other wineries were great. We got lots of pours at each one.
Tasting fees are included in the cost of the tour as is lunch.

Ive been on tours with top cat twice now and both times the experience has been amazing.I wanted my second tour to be different then the first one and the lady on the phone while booking was absolutely amazing and accommodating and made sure to switch up the wineries so that I would have a different experience than the first time. The tour guides by far made each tour the best, they made sure we were well taken. For me it’s the little things like watching to see when we all had wine in our cups and then came over and took pictures of our group without us needing to ask, And when we came out of each winery he would be there waiting for us to take our wine bottles and put them in our own boxes labelled with our names in the bus. Thank you top cat will definitely be using your company on my next visit!

Summer of 2020 I was invited to participate on an all day inclusive tour the Narramatta stretch with top cat wine tours.
We were a group of 12 and it was a real blast. Besides the early pick-up time of 9:45, the bus was very comfortable , clean, and obviously newer, and our guide was professional. We had our choice of Salty's or Time winery for lunch, we chose Salty's and it was great. We were dropped off on time and the experience was awesome.
fast forward to mid September 2021, I was celebrating my 50th birthday and thought how fun would it be to do another one tour with Top Cat. I filled out the online booking form and from the beginning the communication between myself and my party between Top Cat was definitely sub-par, getting a hold of someone would literally take days.
The day of the tour, again was an early pick up of 9:45. They offer 10:45 but we weren't able to get that.

The bus arrives but his time it was a much older, and unfortunately no where near as nice as the one I was on the last time. However our guide was nice and professional, but the line up of wineries were not the ones I had discussed when booking the tour and so the guide had to line up another winery last minute. we were again disappointed in the choices. Included in our tour, was a Lunch. Unfortunately Burrowing Owl wasn't available for lunch so we went to the Firehall Tapas and Bistro in Oliver. To be honest Im not even sure where to start about how disappointed I was in this choice of venue for this tour. We were separated because of the restrictions but were literally on opposite ends of the pub from one another, surely our tables could have been separated but beside each other? This pub was very dirty, and the table was sticky, the flies were out of control, and the service was bare minimum. We had a couple of celiacs and a vegan, (which was mentioned at the time of booking) and were assured this would be mentioned, and we would have options. We had about two things to choose from as our server wasn't very informed. Our vegan was offered ribs and sweet potato fries as one of the choices. Besides the laughs this provided for the rest of the day, again very disappointed. The winery line up wasn't the greatest either. I mean we each paid 167$ it was a 50th, and the service at the wineries that were included in tour, well honestly it just wasn't great, it was very disappointing. Kismet, and Hester creek were the best and the others ( Geringher brothers, Rust and co, and Desert Hills) were again very sub-par.
As far as recommending this tour company, I guess I would say "maybe", but just make sure to ask for one of the nicer buses, be specific and do your research on the restaurant choices provided, and hopefully your luck with getting ahold of them for questions and payments is better than mine.

We have done beer, cider and wine tours across Canada and NEVER have we had to pay ALL tasting fees on top of the tour fee, itself. In fact, only two days prior to our beer and cider tour here, we went on a world class wine tour around Kelowna for a very small amount of money more than this tour but it included tasting fees at 5 highly ranked wineries, not 4 places like this tour, where they hardly even knew who we were when we arrived. Our guide, Marc, was the best part of the tour but believe me, when I’m paying for someone to drive me around to a few pubs whose hosts are unhelpful and rude, I might as well pay a taxi driver far less for the same experience rather than pay $350+ just for Marc’s entertaining banter. Our first stop was a wonderful cidery but after that things went rapidly down hill. It was like the company was just starting out and had no idea how to orchestrate the stops. I’m calling them “stops” because the breweries especially had no idea what tour we were with, they seemed very confused about our arrival, and then offered absolutely NO assistance or explanation about what we were tasting, nor a “tour” of any kind. There is absolutely no comparison in the experience or professionalism or the products tasted or the dollar value or the reception from the hosts between this tour and the wine tour in Kelowna two days before. The price is not worth it when customers then have to pay all tasting fees at the four stops. As well, if you are looking for education on the process of beer making, which we have had in Halifax, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Canmore, you will not find it here. If your driver is as good as Marc, that’s one thing but for your money, stick to a high quality wine tour.

We booked a 4 person Golden Mile/Black Sage - Full Day Wine Tour with Topcat on Aug 30th out of Osoyoos. The other couple we were going with had to cancel because her 93 year old father was not doing very well. On September 5 I sent my first email to cancel I ask for a confirmation of cancellation and asked if there was any thing they could do about the cancellation policy. I received no reply so I phoned on September 8 talked to a man he said someone started a email and will send it shortly.
I have sent 4 more emails trying to get a confirmation of cancellation and NO answers
I would never book with Topcat tour and I will and have informed friends not to book with them as Topcat does not care about there customers.

Can't call this a tour. Our driver was very quiet and we learned very little from him about wine or the region or its history. He just didnt seem interested. We did the Naramata Bench half day tour. I really wish we had just driven ourselves and saved the 117.00 each we paid. Hardly worth the money just to have someone drive a few miles (they were almost close enough to walk between wineries) and carry our wines for us. I would not use this service again. It was just a 470.00 taxi ride in the end.

We had a wonderful time on our full-day Naramata bench wine tour last weekend. Our driver was Dennis and he was great! Super friendly, answered all of our winery/vineyard questions, packed all the bottles we bought out to the bus, and kept us on time without making us feel rushed. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off exactly when we had been told we would. The only thing I was the slightest thing disappointed with was that we had lunch at Time winery, which we ate inside with no view at all. I’d expected to eat lunch outside with a lake view! However the food made up for any small disappointment I felt, it was delicious and very filling!
We would absolutely recommend Topcat Tours; and will definitely use them again in the future!

We were disappointed with our wine tour. We booked a tour weeks before our trip to Osoyoos, which was in early August. The night before our tour, the guide called us to confirm and said we were the only passengers on the tour and let us know what vehicle to expect. When he arrived to pick us up he was in a different vehicle and there was another party of 4 (in addition to our party of 4) on the tour. Not a big deal. When we picked up the other party the guide stood up and told us what wineries he was taking us to and said he wasn't going to bother asking us our names or doing introductions as he wouldn't remember our names anyways. We went to 5 wineries that day...all of which were not notable or were very tired and old. We did not have reservations at any stop so had to wait outside in the heat with everyone else. Our lunch was included but was at an old pub and they ran out of most everything we wanted to eat so we couldn't order what we wanted.
Although it was nice he labelled our boxes when we got back on the bus, he mislabelled ours so we ended up taking home several bottles of wine that the other party had bought so we had to figure that out the next day and the other party had to make a trip to our hotel to pick up their missing wine which had been labelled with our name on it. During the tour, although our guide was very friendly, he didn't actually "tour" and just drove us from winery to winery - just a "DD" really as there was no tour between sites. Overall a very expensive taxi service including a disappointing lunch stop (why not choose a winery for lunch?!) and would not choose Top Cat again.

Todd our driver/tour guide was great. I would highly recommend Top Cat Tours to anyone that wants to take a tour of the many many wineries that are now open. Even with the Covid-19, we felt very comfortable with everything.
