This a great little gallery located next to the equally excellent Ikeda Japanese Garden (that's how we discovered this place), just east of the Penticton Lakeside Resort downtown. They have three large exhibition rooms and a lovely gift shop. You know it's a good community...More

Every now and then we drop into the Penticton Art Gallery just to see what the latest exhibition is and to take a walk through their lovely retail shop and have never been disappointed. Our December 2017 visit was during their sale and great fun.

Popped in for a look...there is some amazing local talent on display here. Cute little gift shop as well. Definitely worth a visit if in the area and appreciate local talent.

This gallery focuses on BC artists of high artistic value. The show I saw was the Alistair Bell show of prints. Beautifully mounted by the Director/ curator. Thoughtfully put together to inform the viewer of the process that Bell used in his work.

We went today well worth it. The art gallery is a nice small one located downtown off the lake. Very nice and seeing the monks was a perfect way to end our walk.

Extremely interesting exhibition called, Grasslands, when I was there. Not too big so that I could not enjoy the walk through. Nice little shop. A sitting room at the end, with many intersting books related to the exhibition.

The Art Gallery has a variety of different Art displays throughout the season with a gift shop that carries local artisans works. It is also located in a nice area to take in a variety of other activities.

What a wonderful surprise to walk around the gardens at the back of this jem. The coy pond can get a little hypnotic. Well worth a visit
