We are located on the beautiful Naramata Bench in the heart of the Okanangan Valley. At LA FRENZ, we believe the quality in the bottle begins in the vineyard. Cutting edge and meticulous vineyard practices are used in combination with varieties tailored to the unique soils and micro climates of our vineyard sites to produce the vibrant and intense grape characters found only in the Okanagan Valley. The potential of the resulting fruit, using experience and careful stewardship throughout the vinification process, is maintained and enhanced to create exceptional wines that truly reflect the grape variety and vineyard site. We welcome you to our unique wine shop overlooking Lake Okanagan. This spectacular view was featured on the $100 banknote from 1954 to 1975. From April through October, we are open daily, 10am to 5pm for tastings and purchases. Join us on our patio for a seated tasting experience or sample at the tasting bar. Seating is limited so reservations are encouraged. We do require advance reservations for groups of 8 or more.

Wine Tasting

One of the friendliest wineries we visited. Product well known to us but of course did not disappoint - rightfully proud of their product.

Really good wine tasting out on the patio. Excellent advice and service from Chris. Would definitely recommend a stop here for a very relaxed and enjoyable tasting.

We keep coming back to La Frenz every time we are in the area, the wines are fantastic, the presentation great. We never leave the place without at least 2 bottles of Mouscat.

Always difficult to comparatively rate a winery when there are so many in the district - in this case the Naramata benches. So, I can say that La Frenz was highly recommended by our BC friends and that we felt it gave us the best experience out of five we sampled / tasted. Rather than the 15 minute bar tasting... More

We did a wine tasting here on the patio that has misters installed overhead, so even though it was 34 degrees we stayed nice and cool. Our server was really informative and helpful. We bought 2 bottles of their Chardonnay which was out of this world.

It's a nice enough winery, not one of my favorites. I wouldn't be disappointed if I didn't make it to this winery, but if it's on your path, go for it. It's not the best or the worst in the area. Nothing really stands out for me.

This winery is in a very nice newer building and a nice oasis from the heat of the day in Penticton. We were greeted at the door by a 'hostess'. We were given the option of doing the wine tasting at a table out on their very nice covered deck and told the tasting would be about 45 minutes to... More

We stopped in here because one of our party loves their fortified wines and needed to pick up a couple bottles. So, we decided to do a tasting as well. The tastings are done at tables on their patio surrounded by the vines and with a view of the lake: very nice. The wines were good but - in the... More

We found this winery to have the best service, very knowledgeable and friendly and some of the best tasting wine on the Naramata Bench. We went to 8 wineries and by far this one had the best service and wine. We ended up purchasing 6 bottles. Always a must stop when we are in the Okanagan.
