Jo saved the day for us when she helped us contact our Airbnb host. We also received excellent advice from her about things to do around Penticton. We highly recommend this place. Thanks a million, Jo!

Loads of information and a stellar wine collection for sale..obviously specializing in wines of the region. The lady we engaged with was very knowledgeable about the wines, their provenence, and especially pricing. Lots of useful tourist info (the Okanagan generally well set up with tourist info) including on restauratns to try. East parking and easy access to Hwy 97. Really worth stopping in.

Nice Saturday farmers market. People were friendly and helpful. We didn't find it particularly tourist welcome or exceptionally clean.

Penticton is a Tourist Mecca, Has it All ! Great Wineries, Craft Breweries, Great Restaurants, Incredible Weather, Surrounded by Lakes, Mountains and Forests.
I live here (retired) and It is the greatest town on earth ! People here are friendly as it still has that "small town" feel. There are all sorts of activities such as car shows Elvis Festival, Peachfest, Jazz Festival and Bridge Tournaments. Come once if you have never been and you will come back again.

Penticton is a quaint city with so many facets to explore. As a child my family would visit there every summer and now that I have been back, I will make this a regular stop each summer.

We went there around May 24-27. Great weather, beautiful mountains, lakes, beaches, vineyards, orchards, and athletes.
There were cycling events and there were running events. We walk along the beach by the lake, it’s a very relaxing place during our time of visit. I can’t wait to see it in summer.
I went out on my bike and cruising around the town and also ride a little bit on the bike trail, magnificent lake view. The cliffs by the lake are also very beautiful in their colours, form, and characters. There are up hills and down hills on the trail but they are short.
We saw three rainbows before we reach Penticton. We took HWY5 on our way there, and HWY3 on our way back to Vancouver. Both ways gave us beautiful sceneries!
The town is super convenient! There are many local grocery stores and large grocery stores. Lots of park. It’s a bit small in size but it is between Kelowna and Osoyoos. So you got two more towns to explore.
There are many things I want to try in Penticton: zip lining, boating, kayaking, mountain climbing, or hiking, and fruit picking. There are things I want to see as well: trestle bridge, water park, goats, car race, and more athletic activities. There is so much to explore in Penticton!

We dropped in there to look around the wine selection and came away with a mixed case. The selection of local wines is excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Saves driving around the entire valley to pick up some of the wines.
