I loved the combination of cycling (easy downhill), learning a little bit about the history of the Kettle Valley Railway, enjoying the spectacular scenery from high up on the mountainside and then finishing with some wine tasting at three vineyards. The perfect way to enjoy the region.

As locals, we try to support our local businesses whenever possible. We have booked a few times before, always for the same thing, a full day kayak rental for 2. Our equipment is always ready and in good order. The guides are always very helpful and friendly.
The online booking and waiver system is a great way to speed up the process. While we ran into an issue with our initial reservation, the team was efficient and quick to offer solutions and we were very happy with the end result.

We were soooo looking forward to the Myra Canyon trip and simply wanted to get on the trail. The shuttle from Hoodoos arrived ahead of time and had us loaded and ready to go in no time. The stop along the way to grab water for one of our group (you know who you are FG) wasn't an issue and our driver shared plenty of local knowledge along the way. Unloading was easy and the ride was S P E C T A C U L A R! Thanks to the team at Hoodoos for the great start to a great day!

We booked a shuttle with Hoo Doo for 14 of us to travel from Penticton to the Myra Canyon Trestles trailhead with bikes for all of us. $100 each. $1400.00 seemed pricey to me to get shuttled from Penticton to Kelowna, however we signed up.
Within two blocks of leaving the company in Penticton our "driver" is heading off in the wrong direction. She has no clue where she is going , she couldn't find the highway from Penticton to Kelowna.. Someone else came up behind her to tell her which way to go. Finally we get on the highway and when we travel through Kelowna she again has no idea where she is going. She takes us up the wrong side of the mountain then has to drive all the way back down.
Keep in mind the parking lot for Myra Canyon Trestles is huge. There is a full bike rental and shop in the parking lot and she still couldn't figure out where it was. Everyone and their dog knows about google maps , perhaps someone employed as a "driver" might have heard of it too. Or perhaps before hiring a driver, they have to go out to drive the routes that are available? What a brainstorm! If only someone else had thought of that
It took 3-1/2 hours to get to the trailhead!!
With the late start by the time we got to Chute Lake Lodge the kitchen was closed leaving all of us on an 80km bike trip with no stop in the middle for food. What a pathetic effort. Never again

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback regarding your recent shuttle experience with Hoodoo Adventures. When we heard about the issues the drivers had in the morning, we immediately reached out to the organizer of your group and apologized, explained that the one driver, who was new, was meant to be following the other who had been there many times, maps were also supplied and training had taken place for both drivers. With this in mind we were perplexed as to how this could have possibly have happened. We also don’t use Google Maps as it sends people to the wrong place in the wrong direction. We have been shuttling cyclists for 16 years and this has never happened before. The owner of the company was also immediately in touch with your organizer when she heard what happened and asked how we could make it right. We offered a reimbursement and he responded to say "Thanks for everything Lyndie, I think the way you and your staff handled this problem was great. I think we have resolved the issue. I will speak with my riders and let them know the outcome. Hopefully, see you next spring!" We have also since thoroughly investigated the incident and have taken immediate measures to address the issues you raised. We understand the importance of reliable transportation and knowledgeable drivers, and we are committed to ensuring such incidents do not occur in the future. We genuinely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delayed arrival at the trailhead, resulting in the closure of the kitchen at Chute Lake Lodge. We understand the impact it had on your overall experience. We will review our procedures to prevent similar situations from occurring, ensuring that participants have ample opportunities for refreshments along their journey. We truly appreciate your feedback and want to assure you that your concerns have been taken seriously. We are committed to continuously improving our services and processes to provide the best possible experience for our customers. Your feedback has been invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement, and we thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We sincerely hope that you will consider giving us another chance in the future. Please reach out to us directly at info@hoodooadventures.ca so that we can personally address your concerns. Once again, we apologize for the negative experience you had and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We value your feedback and the opportunity to make things right.

Hi Kevin, We are truly sorry for how this turned out. We owned up to this mistake right away and reached out immediately afterwards apologizing for not showing up and to remedy the situation: we provided a full refund and a credit for a future shuttle to Myra Canyon which we would very much like to honour for you. This is the first time that this has ever happened, it was a miscommunication between drivers and unfortunately, your party never had the opportunity to experience the bike tour from Myra Canyon to Penticton along the KVR because of it. We sincerely hope you accept this as an incident that we have remedied internally and that you have the chance to ride the trail in the future.

Our group, all around 70, did a modified Velo Vine Tour with Mike. Everything about the tour was excellent and Mike provided interesting information about the KVR and the area around the railroad. It was followed by a nice lunch at Serendipty and a tasting at Joie Farms.

Hired for a shuttle from their shop to Myra Canyon. Would have given 5 stars but the driver showed up late. Otherwise, excellent service and would use again.

I booked a shuttle to Chute Lake to meet friends on the Kettle Valley trail. It was a very busy weekend for Hoodoo,, with a large event already booked. But they accommodated me and one other cyclist with our special shuttle to the lodge. Lindsey was super helpful via email and our driver was such a great personality - lots of stories about adventures. Highly recommend Hoodoo!
