Network of trails
Apr. 2021 • Solo
I enjoy walking these trails because I can start at UNBC and end up in Ginter's park or Cranbrook hill. The network of trails includes fishing at Shane lake and hiking through green belts.

Great park and hiking area in summer or winter
Feb. 2020
One of the best places to walk in Prince George. A great network of trails and a beautiful stocked lake you can fish and swim in as well.

The park is very well maintained and clean largely in part because people are respectable when they are there. There are loads of trash bins and a picnic area with a covered section and picnic tables right by the lake, so it's a great spot to have lunch.

I've been walking and fishing here in both winter and in summer and the trails are maintained year-round. There are several trails depending on your physical ability and how long you want to spend here. If you're traveling to Prince George this would be a great place to spend an afternoon.
