Excellent day at Exploration Place on Wednesday! Something for both adults and kids. Adults appreciated the historical exhibits, including learning more about Japanese internments. Kids loved the axolotls, the game projected on the floor, cookie decorating, the snakes, skink and lizard, playdo circuits and more. All loved the cafe tables with changing sand art. Staff were wonderfully friendly. Will be back!

There is always something to see at the museum. There is a small store downstairs, and exhibits upstairs. Quite often there are visiting exhibits. There are also fun days for the kids and summer programmes.

Go to the gift shop. Have a coffee. Just the usual coffee but you have a wonderful panoramic view of a delightful park protected from any type of weather. A great place to sit and read.

Nice little local museum. There used to be a lady who worked there. I think Amanda was her name. She seemed really knowledgeable. Have not seen her in a while and the other staff are OK. But she always had a smile and a nice greeting for me each time I went.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was such a large play area for younger children (5 under). The layout was great with ease of viewing with many interactive activities.

Super friendly staff and a great play area for little ones under 6. The staff were knowledgeable and really seem to love sharing information! Learn about everything from dinosaurs to ball pythons! We spent half a day here. Sadly the train was not running, but we went to the train station where they sell locally made ice cream. It was delicious! The park next door is also excellent with a big playground, splash park and views of the river.

Had been wanting to go to the museum for a while now. I wasn't able to when I was in Prince George for collage, but I made time now. There wasn't much kids there so it was nice being able to look around without to much distraction. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Usually I didn't "interrogate" the staff, but this time I made sure to ask lots of questions.
The staff were friendly and very easy to locate as well as willing to answer as well as direct new visitors. Will be going again to see what's new!

I enjoyed my visit to the Exploration Place. The fossils were interesting and displayed very well. The Biodome exhibit was very interesting as well, with a large variety of taxidermy as well as small creatures.
I liked it but found it absolutely overrun with wild, out of control kids. It was clear that this place is used as a babysitting service for large groups of children.
I also found it a little expensive for what I got.

Great place to bring my very busy 2.5 year old son. There is a water table, a house with dress up clothes and a Thomas the train set. Always some sort of slimy animal to play with too :)
