Big Red Cats really stepped up the standard for searching for deep powder. Never have I had ever experienced powder so deep and so fresh than I have on my day spent with Big Red Cats. Our guide Corey was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced with...More

The conditions were not ideal, but our guide found a great terrains for us. He took the weaker sker gently under his wing, so nobody had to wait. His focus on safety was most impressive. Highly recommended!

With limited powder skiing experience and no backcountry experience I decided to two days of cat skiing with a large group of buddies. Big Red Cats did a nice job picking runs that were interesting and challenging for multiple group members, even those with much...More

I've been skiing for 55 years and this day with Big Red Cats is, without a doubt, the high light of my skiing experience! Our guide, Thomas Fortin, was waiting at the bus as excited as we were for the big day ahead. A short...More

Just what my friends who had been there several times before told me." You'll never ski a run where you cross someone else's tracks the whole week". Great team guiding our group out every day, knowledgeable, polite and patient. Can't wait to do it all...More

Thanks so much! All of the guides and drivers work really hard, and it's so nice to get feedback like that. See you next year!

Our family has extensive backcountry and heli-skiing experience. And yes, stuff can happen in the backcountry....but when a massive slide buries nearly an entire group, as happened to a family member on 1/18/17....it tells me the operators are either reckless or imcompetent. There is no...More

BRC is a large operation- probably biggest of its kind, and yet is family run. Paula appears to be the 'public portal'- handling the bookings and in the office pretty much 23 hours a day it seems, except when her kids are racing! I got...More

That does sound like it's a fairly spot-on description of that time. Sorry the guides couldn't take you out on the steep untreed runs on your day of cat skiing. On some days, those simply aren't safe enough to ski, and their focus is on...More

It usually isn't possible to move people around much, so it is best to try to pick the right level to begin with. There is some overlap between levels, and some people do overestimate and underestimate ability, but there... More
