Duthie Gallery on Salt Spring Island shows fine art, sculpture, landscape art and studio furniture and exhibits many prominent artists from the Pacific Northwest: Michael Dennis, David Robinson, Deon Venter, Judith Currelly, Richard Tetrault, Brent Comber, Rosalie Matchett, Benita Sanders and Gerda Lattey. The gallery also contains a 1- acre sculpture park; during the summer the sculpture park is illuminated and open in the evenings. Spring hours: 11-5 Friday Saturday & Sunday, Summer hours: Thursday - Monday 11 - 5. Night Gallery - nightly July and August 9 - 11pm

We spend a good hour viewing the gallery, talking to the owner and wandering around outside through the paths between the trees and admiring the sculptures. A pleasant way to spend some time.
