Absolutely incredible. The boat was very impressive and allowed us get right into the shore line. Arron and Sarah looked after us very well and were very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their work. We visited very picturesque areas. And also had the great fortune to see mother bears with their cubs. A truly unforgettable experience. We are now looking at other tours that Jamie’s offer while we are in Tofino. It’s a great set up, these guys clearly know what they are doing.

The boat was well equipped and comfortable. Skipper and crew both knowledgeable and friendly. Took a short cruise at speed to reach the bear beaches up the Tofino inlet. Although we were warned it might be hard to find bears the crew spotted one fairly quickly. It was turning over rocks on the beach like they were toys, looking for crabs etc. We stayed a while without getting too close, everyone got a good view. They had binoculars you could borrow if you didn't have them. Then moved on to another location and saw a bear grazing on the grass, and finally we saw a mom with 2 cubs which was amazing. Also saw harbour seals, eagles and a sea otter. Fantastic afternoon out.

Incredible BEAR WATCHING.tour outside Tofino, Vancouver Island, where we saw sea otters, sea lions, seals, eagels AND A BLACK BEAR, thus the bears had decided not to come out of the Woods today ;) Our captain went some extra miles in search for one beautiful Black Mother bear, which was searching for shell fish at the beach for quite a while. Thank you so much for a comfertable and exciting tour. The guide onboard was very competent and shared many interesting details of the wildlife. Thank you for beautiful and amazing tour 😀

An absolutely wonderful time. Went at 0730 in the morning and saw bears. In total we spent time with four bears. Great vessel to travel on - comfortable - toilet and great crew.

Hello, Thank you for your review and for the 5 stars. We are glad that you were able to catch our early morning departure to see the bears! This trip leaves at the best possible low tide of the day, so the time changes each day. Our cruiser from Tofino has big windows on all sides and a seat for each passenger, very comfortable indeed! We hope you left with some magical memories of the west coast. Kindly, Kelso Visitor Experience Manager

We went on the hot springs tour yesterday, with Chris our pilot. The springs are amazing, incredibly warm and right next to the sea - almost unreal. The walk through the woods is magical with ancient trees in a lush forest. The trip would've been worth it for just the springs, but we were very lucky on the way there to see a large amount of wildlife: grey whales, Californian seal lions, sea otter and even a black bear. Chris was incredibly good at spotting the wildlife and was full of interesting information about them and the local area. We've been on a lot of boat trips around the world and this was definitely one of the best - cannot recommend it enough!

You could not have described the tour better, it truly includes everything. Seas, trees and the relaxing soak in the springs and loads of wildlife along the way. This half day adventure is a great way to see and experience the west coast. We appreciate your recommendation and hope you can visit with us again soon! Kindly, Kelso Visitor Experience Manager

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt safe the whole time . We didn’t get to see too much whale activity but we saw sea otters and sea lions. The views are just stunning. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Tofino

Hi Damian, Thank you for your review and for letting us know about your tour. We are very glad to hear you felt safe during your time out on the water, that is our top priority! Our sightings of whales can be different each day, depending on if they are eating in one spot, traveling or interacting with other whales. We hope that even what you did see left an impression on you. While the whales are the star of the show, we agree that the views out on the water are stunning and unmatched! We appreciate your recommendation and hope you will visit with us again. Kindly, Kelso

The skipper was very friendly, had a good sense of humor and was knowledgeable. We saw gray whales, California and stellar seal lions, eagles and porpoises.

Hi Kimberly, Thank you for your review and for the 5 stars. Sounds like you spotted so many of our west coast species, porpoises is a specail one as they are generally very shy! Each trip is different and we can never say what we will see out there on the water. We are glad you appreciate the skippers humor, a few of them know some dad jokes and they like to share them. It was our pleasure to have you on board! Kindly, Kelso Visitor Experience Manager

We had a fantastic bear watching trip and a whale watching trip. Very knowledgable crew. Gave us lots of information and answered any questions easily and in depth. Great respect for the wildlife keeping far enough away for them to be comfortable and to allow us to enjoy them in their habitat

Thank you for your review and 5 stars! Sounds like you had a jam packed time out here on the coast, doing whales and bears is 6 hours almost out on the water. There is so much to see out there including the beautiful scenic views of Clayoquot Sound. Our crew are always learning all they can about the species we observe and we frequently run staff training evenings to learn whats new. Thank you for also mentioning our respect for the wildlife. This is at the forfront of how we operate as we want to continue to observe these animals for years to come. It was a pleasure to have you on board with us! Kindly, Kelso Visitor Experience Manager
